Secrets to questing and getting rid of unwanted quest items.
Alot of you know that there is a resuscitation quest at level 20 at any herbologist in any town. Now I found myself with way too many resuscitation potions. Since they only stack 5 at a time, it takes up inventory space fast. I didn't need the potions. I just never abandoned the quest so I kept collecting cursed hearts without realising it.
You cant store these items; you cant drop or sell them, so HOW DO YOU GET RID OF THEM?
Well I have an answer and it most likely works with any item that u cant drop, sell, or trade.
Go to just about any NPC and they will buy the whole stack of whatever you want to get rid of but cant get rid of it any other way. They only pay 1 gold no matter how many is in the stack though.
I hope this helps some newcomers. It was a bit of a pain for me to figure it out on my own.
Furthermore, with regard to quests, there are many "collect this many <insert something here>. You get the specified amount and bring the items back. BUT alot of those quest items can be banked before you actually visit the NPC to finish the quest, and you still get your reward. Even better, you can using those same items if they want more of the same thing. You can keep doing this and never give a single requested quest item to the NPC.
Take the Powder bomb quest in Donwhang for example. This quest is from the general store on Donwhang. First she asks you to get 20 powder bombs from (meek)Gun powders. Once you've collected 20 quest items, bank them; go see her for your reward. Next she'll ask you for 200 more quest items. Grab those 20 quest items from your bank and collect 180 more quest items until you've got 200 quest items. Bank them and go collect your reward. Now she will ask for a final 200 quest items.
This is the tricky part; get your 200 quest items out of the bank. This part is important. Now press I to see your inventory. Put your mouse over the 200 quest bombs; hold shift and left click on it. A dialogue will appear asking how many to separate. Type 1 only. You should now have a stack of 199 bombs and a stack of 1 bomb. Bank the 1. Now go kill a couple of meek gun powders to get 1 more bomb. It will say quest completed. Bank all the bombs again. Return to the questgiver and get your reward. Now you can sell those bombs in a stall for at least 1k each!
This applies to many other quests including the ghost bug eggs quest.
I hope this helps you newcomers learn about the secrets in quests.
Sincerely,
Calmwind

Thank you for the clarification, Ill edit the main post right now to rectify that discrepancy.
The only problem with this is that you won't get the EXP and SP from grinding to collect the bombs (or items) each time. You will get the reward EXP and SP, but not the grinding EXP or SP. Just FYI.
I also did that with the gunpowders. I did that 20 normal. than I bring them away. Then I getted that 200, bank them go to her and report get them from the bank and make them 199 and 1 sell the 1 and get 1 new and I did that 2 more times REALLY easy to get much exp in short time.
But now I've the problem on lvl 31 u need to train normal without quests, cuz with killing gun powders u also get Exp and Sp. It's no real problem.

I'll address 2 post that have been made since last night. Firstly no they did not fix the "bug" if thats what you prefer to think of it as. Its quite possible that its made to work that way; considering its more than likely SRO staff knows about it; and yet isnt punishing people using it.
The second thing is someone mentioned losing the experience from not killing the gun powerders. You have a point however gun powders and meek gun powders are spread so thin that they are very slow expericence to grind with anyway.
Someone else mentioned dropping a gun powder bomb. You cannot drop a quest item bomb. Only bank, thats why I said bank the one then go back out and kill to get another.
In the ghost bug egg quest all you have to do is drop one and pick it back up. Not so for the bomb quest. I am sure there are more quests where this type of thing is possible. It saves time and I encourage using whatever tricks that are at your disposal to level faster.

No they arent, however There is one ghost bug egg quest that is smaller (like 10 or 20 eggs) before the 150 one.. u can use the trick to save time, I have not yet done the wing one, I'll post after i do it and inform you whether or not the eggs can be subbed for wings. But i doubt it.

How do you put things into storage?
Everytime I try to put quest items into storage, it says that this item is indispensable. Should I wait till I get all the items and put it into storage then>
EDIT: It says cannot be captured.

This trick is not applicable to every quest that requires collection of items. But I encourage you to at least check if the quest item can be banked, and if it can, this trick will work.. and you can get your reward and sell the quest items for a specific amount each to others even if there are no other linking quests.
they arn't spread thinly at all. and this will make yuo lvl seemingly SLOWER. since you won't have anything to do most of 30 and 31. no incentive. i did it for 1 of the 3 only because i was bored but i'll tell you not to. you'll thank yuorself in the long run

I like the trick, but i'll have to admit, i'll only do it once, if I even try it. It is best to kill the 'powders west of Downhang, and you'll miss the XP in the 30-31-32 grind. But i've got friends to beat
