Ok so my skill mastery is at lvl 24, and my character lvl is at 31. 7 lvl gap.
How much SP should I be looking to get with a 7 lvl sp. I'm grinding on Gun Powder/Meek Earth Ghosts right now and they have been taking about 10 sec each and giving me roughly 144 skill experience. Should I move up to a stronger monster to maximize SP farming?
I'm SP Farming at lvl 31

i'd say move to a LOWER mob. 10 seconds is about 5 seconds too long. While mob for mob, higher monsters are better, for a long run, lower mobs are more efficient.
Say you get 144 SP for GPs. It takes 10 seconds each, and then about 5 seconds to run to the next one. That's 15 seconds per kill. Now go to the demon horses. Say they give about 110 SP. Less SP, but you can kill them in 4 seconds, and since they're all aggro, they come to you more often, so your run time is about 3 seconds in a good spot. That's 7 seconds per kill.
144 SP every 15 seconds vs 110 SP every 7 seconds.
In a 30 minute grind, you'll get 17,280 SPXP, or 43 SP farming the gunpowders/ghosts.
In a 30 minute grind, you'll get 28,285 SPXP, or 70 SP farming the horses.
In addition, you'll be making more kills, and using less pots. This means you'll make more money, have more opportunity for drops, and be able to stay out longer before something breaks.

Being a bastard works.
