Improved SOS/SOM/SOSUN guide

Hey guys, a time ago i made a guide like this one, only later on, i discovered a lot of mistakes :cry:

. So here is the new and improved guide

.

In silkroad there are a lot of weapons and armors, some of these weapons and armors are legendary ( yeah right

) , these legendary weapons and armors have an extra power bonus on them, that's called SOX
( sos/som/sosun ).

This SOX on a weap/armor increase the power of the weap and the defence of an armor without any + on it.

Example: if u have a lvl 32 sos bow, than u already got a bow thats like +6/7, if u than also add some +'s on it, like +5, than ull have a sos+5 32 bow, and thats like +12. Try to get a normal 32 bow from +0 to +12... ( IMPOSSIBLE :cry:

). So SOX weaps/amors help allot ^^.

There are only SOX weaps of the first lvl of a degree (1,8,16,32,42,52,64)

There are 3 different SOX:

1st one: Seal of Star ( SOS ) , compaired to +6/7

2nd one: Seal of Moon ( SOM ), compaired to +10

3rd and most powerfull one: Seal of Sun ( SOSUN ) , compaired to +15

If u get any of these SOX drops, u can call ur self freaking lucky ^^.

Also wanted to tell that in International Silkroad Online there are no 8 degree SOM/SOSUN weaps/armor. This means that the strongest weapons/armors on ISRO at the moment are the 7 degree SOSUN.

hmmm.

52+15=67
64+5=69

So your last statement is wrong? Or perhaps you were referring to the enhanced attributes (ie higher reinforcement).

Also as shown in my above equation...I'm pretty sure sos is +5 and not +6/+7.

sosun 7 degree is more powerfull than sos 8 degree

, so sosun 7 degree is the strongest in ISRO atm. Ofcourse it depends on the extra enchantments, but if u took the same ( 52 sosun+5 and 64 sos+5 ) , than 52 sosun is stronger

How is it more powerful? Welshkorn explained it perfectly. Im using weapons as examples:

SOSun 7th degree=SOSun level 52=52+15 which equals level 67
SOS 8th degree=SOS level 64=64+5 which equals level 69
Last time I checked 69>67.

Even if you added +5 to each it would still be level 72 for the 7th degree and level 74 for the SOS. I don't know, maybe its late and Im not adding right or something.

Actually, it depends on the %'s of the attacks. A "67" weapon with a 35% or more attack is about the same as a "69" with ~0% attacks. For magic, it's really evident, for physical, not as much. High attack %s make up for level differences, from what I've seen, >90% magical is better than a + 4 w/ 0 %. As stated before, the same doesn't apply as much for physical since the dmg is lower than magical.

Yah but i think we were talking about if they had the same stats, but yah higher % does affect the damage a lot. Also the SOSun will probably have a higher critical value.

first of all who said that sos lvl 64 is the same as 69 ? and if u dont believe, compair a sosun weapon of a lower degree with a weap of higher degree ^^, like sosun 7 degree and sos 8 degree, also it depends on the lvl of the weap how much a weap elixer adds to it
