Unfortunately, they have already seemed to have got it working again. I'm still seeing botters in the stronghold. Though, I'm not sure if there has been a public release or not. I know i haven't updated this, but just keep in mind i created this thread pre-isrobot. All i can do now is list the botters who have been caught, and some very general tips that will hopefully identify most botters with little error. As ja has said, GM's do not ban based on pictures or videos. They take the names they get from the bug reports and pay the botter a personal visit. I'll update this later when im not lazy.

I saw 2 botters last night on Aege, PM'd em.. added as friends etc etc.. no reply and they kept running in circles killing demon horses near donwhang.. They never changed thier style or used magic to kill or anything, it was just running up to a horse, kill it then take the stuff and run up to another.. repeat.. comeongold kept trying to take my gold and steal kills as well.. Several other ppl told me that bot kept trying to take their gold also and steal their kills.. their names were (listed below)..

if I see them again, I'll fraps it and post on the forums @ the site... Plenty of ppl saw those botters too.. but unfortunately most of the ppl said "i don't care" or they were just passing through..

Wow. I can't believe all the controversy over botting. Virtually every oppinion on botting has been voiced in this thread. A heated fight has broken out. I think this thread proves the evil of botting. Botting is cheating. People with morals hate botters. People without morals bot. Yes, I said it. If you bot you lack morals. Cheating is wrong there is no way to justify it. I have also come to the conclusion that it is better to let the cheaters cheat than to punish non-botters of botting. I don't bot, but I am afraid somebody will acuse me of botting. Here's why: I sometimes act like I'm botting when I am hard core lvl grinding. I use the same skills at the same time. I auto-pot. I often don't respond to people talking to me because I am tired of having to stop and let the person next to me take my kill because I am typing. I often run in a circle when I hunt. If I find a spot where lots of monsters that I am hunting spawn I will take the same path around that area to improve efficiency. Now I know some of you will say "thats a botter's excuse," but I don't bot and I am sure I am not the only honest person who acts like a botter to improve effeciency. I actually use botters as a model on how to hunt more effeciently. Bots are programs made to lvl people as quickly as possible. That is my goal as well so why don't I do the same without the bot? I have seen many botters yet I have reported none. I don't report botters because I don't want to report an innocent person. Also, I have taken a look at the other side of things. I went to gzp to see what botters are thinking. Most hate the game and just want to be lvl 70. If you ask me, they are paying the price of botting already. Games are meant to be fun. Botters look at the game as a chore. I also saw that some botters just bot to see if they can. Writing a bot program sounds like hard work, especially with game guard. I saw a silkroad emulator for private servers. I thought that was cool because then people can bot on their own server and let the real server be clean of botters. If they don't want to play by the rules, let them make their own game. Finally, I am so sick of seeing people acuse others of botting. We will never catch all of them, and even if we do they will just make a new acc. Why don't we just play the game how we want to play it, and get a general understanding that botters are either noobs or people who have gotten bored with the game. If you got to lvl 70 by botting, you can't feel proud. If you botted on a different acc and gave money to your main acc you can't feel like you've earned something. This game means absolutely nothing. 20 years from now you won't have benefitted from botting. This game is entertainment. If you are letting a computer play for you how are you having fun? Do you tell your computer to watch TV for you? Botting is rediculous. Just play fair.

Please confirm that I am in fact a botter, I still doubt that joymax will ban me since I also buy silk

Also, I'm no longer a member of GUCCI who are infact opposed to botting. Life is too short to worry about this kind of thing kids. Get over your selves.

like manyang man has said... there isnt much we can do anymore.. all you can do is send the botters name to bug report and pray. The only reason botters prevail in this game is because we have a lack of gm's. the gm's we have right now arent even from a country that actually plays this game. they probably have their own characters on ksro that they have to worry about. truth is, joymax doesnt give a shit about how we feel here on isro. the gm's dont care as much as they should and arent in sync with the community. as for anti botting... we have lost the battle... but the war isnt over yet. botting has evolved ever since this topic was first posted. its pretty easy to tell whos botting via their bot dancing. there is just something unhuman about how they play.

+ bot babysitters are retarded... your supposed to bot to be afk while you level... not bot so that you dont have to click and press 12345... unless you have fat fingers and you cant leave your room unless you suck your stomach in... then of course then i understand...

Add the followign on bot list for AEGE

Pettersson(Or Petterson, I forgot lol) he plays all day, never talks, kills ANYTHING within range even if someone else is attacking, using same skills in same order for every kill, never rests.

Tesrigil-^^Same as above, except her bot doesn't ks, if shes attacking something, and you start attacking it, she'll immediatly run away.

And there is SO muchh more at the East ferry on Aege, around 15bots over there...

Tip:If the bot is a bot who kses, use a protector stone on them, it usally works..they'll attack it, and die
