What do you mean? Cleric sub wiz/cleric sub lock? Neither...wiz with cleric sub is what most people do. Wizard/lock I have not seen many of, so cannot comment.
My personal fave of course is bard/cleric, but it sucks up SP almost as bad as a lock/cleric.
I was trying to say. If i were to go for 2 main build like what Phortex talk about him going wiz for lvling purpose and cleric for pt purpose.
And i usually see clerics and wiz. what about warlock? is it gd at solo lvling as well? Or the dmg just cant match up to wiz and therefore going wiz is still the best choice.

hope this is clearer
Warlock isn't about damage, but about debuffing and DoTing. A warlock is (like any other european build) supposed to be used in party play, where the warlock debuffs mobs so wizards hit more, and DoT mobs so the whole party gets instant zerk.
Overall warlock and wiz are both good solo builds as well. Though with warlock you will find yourself to not die as fast as the wiz. Wizard can solo faster in the way that he kills mobs faster, but warlock dies a lot less and can still solo good. Also warlock has a skill to suck hp out of a mob and regain your own hp. This together with cleric sub makes a warlock really hard to kill. Up to you what you want most ^^
