As you can see, the guides and tuts sections is being tweaked
at this moment. There are still a couple of things that need
to be done, but give us time to work on that.
The general idea is to have a guides n tuts database that's
easier to access than the sticky we have/had in the guides n
tuts section right now. Now you can go to the guides you need
by clicking the guide's subsection on the index page.
That's the main reasons these forums are locked. It would be
very hard to moderate each and every subsection, so the sub
sections only hold the guides that have earned a sticky. The
discussions of the topics will be kept in the main guides n
tuts section, and if there are updates, us mods will look it
up and replace the topic in the subsection with the updated
one.
so, now G&T looks like:
- Main Guides n Tuts page
- locked subsection
- locked subsection
- locked subsection
We hope these subsections will make the guides easier to find
for our members, especially the new ones. Like i said, there
are still some tweaks to be done. For example, i want the sub
sections to be at the bottom of the main Guides n Tuts page,
instead of above the main page like they are now. Then you
won't have to scroll down to read the general Guides n Tuts
discussions.
