I have been away from SRO for a while and a friend told me that there is a private server called ecSRO. I did some research (found their website) and found out that they have 10x rate and that supposedely it's bot free.

For people playing on ecSRO, is it true that there is no bots? I hope there are no bots. I want to play SRO again but don't wanna come back to the official servers because of the bot problem and the economy problem. I myself have 2 accounts: lvl72 and lvl80 on pacific server, but it's no fun anymore (wonder if they still around, cus I heard Joymax banning innocent people).

Anyways, anyone here playing esSRO? fun? botless?

ecsro = botfull
ecsro vip = not as botfull

And AFAIK the rates are 7x, not 10x.

Silkroad is still the same. Player bots have not been banned. Joymax has brain washed everyone too think their making the game better. The only reason they are "trying" to look good is for the current and future silk buyers. I've seen countless post on people saying "Hey, I just bought silk cause of bot ban. I might buy silk if they keep banning gold bots."
Joymax is a company trying to make the most money they can before their money printing game dies. They haven't impressed me at all with these "weekly bot bans". Till the day anybody can make private servers, Silkroad wont be a game worth playing.

ECSRO has no bots, well atleast you may find one here and there but not many. The players are actually there to talk to you and PVP. But it is crowded 24/7. :p

GM's are active and yes there are bots but its really hard to find any and they've gotten really smart and sneaky.

Unique events etc... I've left isro for awhile seems like when i want to go grind on roc mountain all the spots are taken along with 50 bots all following each other....

Rates are 10x, not 7x. I can't understand where do ppl come up with 7x rates? It's clearly visible that you get 10x more exp, it's even posted on their web
The server is mostly legit, there are some bots but not a lot of them. But since the capacity is only 1000 it's ALWAYS crowded

I tried it but i couldn't log on =/ Crowded 24/7 and only one server showing in the list, i guess that's the free one but shouldn't the vip server show in the server list at least?

I'm level 67 there, but I don't like it. Prolly gonna give away my account to one of my friends IRL, I don't really need it anymore. It's crowded 24/7. Takes three hours, and a coin placed on my ENTER key, while I'm watching TV to log in.

If I could pay for VIP ecSRO, though, I might consider coming back.

can someone pm a link to download ecSRO? last time I looked for it I got a trojan

Same for me, a friend gave me a link but it was a trojan and backdoor virus....

try to kill a mangyang, what do you get? 10 exp, on isro it's 1 (at the same lvl ofcourse)
and there are almoast no bots, if you see one, you can pm one of the 20? GM's.

why dont ecsro open up new severs so its not crowded?

Your not serious that it takes 3 hours to log in right? I just leave a staple on my enter key and I can get in from 1-10 minutes.

But ECSRO is fun to me, wish it had CTF and new skills but it's enjoyable. xD

I will be very active (I got lots of free time except when I play tennis or when I'm with my gf). Also, I have around SRO ever since it came out and so I know most of SRO-mechanics. Just wondering any ACTIVE guilds out there?

EDIT: Question: I was reading the ecSRO forums and I see people saying that they have bought 2b gold, 1m sp, etc... is this only on the VIP server or the normal server too? IF it is on the normal server, it isn't fair

OnTopic: Ecsro is crowded 24/7... 60% bots, and the GMs say they care about it, but they rarely ban any..

No one has answered Disconnect3d for the (Non-Trojan / Virus / other stuff we dont want) Client.

And BTW, I download the ecSRO client from silkroadaddiction and it indeed has Trojan Horse. Dunno why though. Any explanation?
