1.1 cSRO
This version is which most SRFers and other people play when they hate iSRO so much
There are 2 divisions (div for short). Div1 is Eastern China while Div2 is Western China so you may experience different lag depending where you live. Personally, I think both divisions are equally populated with English speakers. For now, I recommend you play on Div2 rather than Div1 unless you suffer insane lag on Div2. Div1 "English" server is crowed due to a lot of new foreign people.
Advantages:
-Alot of English people already play this version.
-Friendly GMs and ALOT of events (compared to iSRO
).-Always log in first try (unless you try to play on the newest server).
-You can go to rok mountains and loot for money.
-NO GOLD BOTTERS or they get banned on sight.
-Earlier updates than iSRO.
-Media files are avaliable to translate into English (interference not chat)
-No verification codes to enter.
Disadvantages:
-You need to arrange with other Chinese to buy silk and game points (I'll post up a guide later).
-You would need to solo most of the time because very few ppl play at the same time as you unless you can get your iSRO friends and union to join you.
1.2 kSRO
I only played this version for about a month. To register, you need a KSSN (Korean Social Security Number). If you use 1 that's not legally yours, you can get arrested for identity theft.
(I'm not responsible if you go to jail or get a heavy fine )Advantages:
-There's a "child" server which you can always play removed all thieves and pk if you want to do 5 stars non stop with your guild.
I done 5 stars with only me (Lv3x wizard) and a Lv4x nuker.-You can find some English people here too. (search around instead of posting).
Disadvantages:
-You need a KSSN to register and play.
-You have to type Korean for the verification code.
1.3 pSRO
This is privately owned Silkroad servers. These servers are illegal because they run without legal license from Joymax. I'm pretty sure you won't go to jail if they got caught. The original public pSRO was made by Chinese operating on an old version of cSRO, they got hacked and they closed their servers (too bad for those who paid for stuff). Now somebody in China nickname "Ocean" purchased the hacked servers and opened ecSRO (European Chinese Silkroad Online).
Advantages:
-Better EXP and SXP rates (x10) so you level much faster than iSRO.
-There are media files to change the game to English.
-Better rates for buying silk .
-You can buy SP, SOSUN+12 items.
-I hear there's alot of events.
Disadvantages:
-The server is not guaranteed to last because it rely on donations.
-The server is full almost all the time because it's only 1 server with a capacity of 1000.
-Bots everywhere and they decided to reset bots to Lv1 instead of banning
-Links related to pSRO is illegal to post here so use Google
1.4 jSRO
I don't know much about this server. You will get ip banned within a few days if you're not in Japan. The autopot is bought from the item mall. The community is really friendly. And finally, there's a lottery system (buy lottery tickets from the item mall) to win prices). Don't waste your time with this... try the other versions
1.5 tSRO
This, I barely know anything about. This is in Chinese Traditional (more complex characters).This version has 90 cap, great costumer service, and VIP stuff
