not getting exp/sp on cSRO

Ok.. I do not want to post a second topic.. but here goes any ways.
There is a icon by my name... that is a little book with a timer on it. It first started as Green then turned to orange and then to grey. When it turned to orange so did my exp bar, and then my exp bar turned grey after ther book did. Now i am getting no exp and no sp. Any one know what is going on here? If so can you please explain.. I am very new to cSRO. =/
Never mind.. Found out for a friend this happens when the CID is wrong. All you need to do is change it and it goes back to normal!
