Ummm no. You must have hexed the pack which is the wrong thing to do. You just need to replace the chinese media.pk2 with the english after christmas pk.2. Ill try to find a link for you. The only reason I can think that it would do that to you would be if the media.pk2 was damaged. Media.pk2 file in English Download from here: http://files.filefront.com/Mediapk2+Aft ... einfo.html
Rename it to Media.pk2 and copy-paste in your silkroad folder.

OT: Try what Deadsolid says, replace your media.pk2, it that does not work install a new client in these steps:

If you have not install Web Thunderbolt skip to step: 5

1. Download Web Thunderbolt: http://down.sandai.net/WebThunder1.11.2.200.exe
2. Install Web Thunderbolt
3. Launch Web Thunderbolt.
4. Launch Internet Explorer.

5. Goto this address: http://www.srocn.com/czss/undefined
6. Install the Client and launch do not modify ANY client files to avoid corruption.
7. Try it and tell me if it works .

Are you sure it just isn't your computer or does it go non responsive?

div2 is the place to go and come on the 2nd last server thats a good server

Yeah Div 2 ftw xD.

I've heard that Div2 laggs for european users and Div1 laggs for American users. (Heard it from a guy that barely spoke english so idk the credibility of that info.)
