... you need to change your cid. Use the cid generator.

If you need to change your password
Log in - http://passport.srocn.com/np

You log in then you will see this picture...

Select the 1st option, then, the 3rd sub option ( 1st and then the 2nd )


Now you can change your password, just look at the image.




Cid and books info.
When I first try a random Cid I got the C7 Error, later I got the cid generator and used one cid number from the generator, it worked.
I had enter the game but I notice that I had a grey book in the upper left corner of the screen.
It's the timer, there are the green book, the orange and the grey book.
If you have entered a correct cid, you wont have a book, but if you translate the game to English, the grey book will appear no matter what. If you change the game again to Chinese you will notice that there is no book, but when you change the game to English the book will appear again.
The grey book as no timer so you will have a normal gameplay.

I wiped my system partition and did a complete reinstall of windows, dialed it in vanilla disabled AV and went to your link

It downloads something called sfz.rar that is not a valid rar.

but this is nice and easy to follow good job

I hope many download that chinese client, I spent 8 hours uploading that thing! after that, downloaded at 500+ kbps. It was done in half an hour

How many English speaking players are there anyway? And those who do play, are they all in same guild/union or just scattered around?

I have seen some english players, but I think that they all are just scattered around, and alone it's very hard to level up if your going to choose euro race.

The Cid generator had been erased.
It's uploaded again. Any other problem, just let me know.

I have made an account and installed the client, but when it's updating, it gives and error that Silkroad.exe client is damaged. What do I have to do?

In the meantime, I'll try to reinstall it. xP

If that don't work, download it again and install the newer version of the game.

This is just SO annoying!
It takes 2 hours to update the whole client, and when it finally reaches 100%, it gives this stupid error.
I reinstalled it, but it still says something like this: C:\Program Files\cSro\Silkroad\sro_client is damaged, please try again.
And then it says: [ERROR]7

What do I have to do? I've been trying to update it for 10 hours now :S

No it isn't! The error posted in the sticky is one you get after you enter your username and password. Also, my error doesn't say anything about C7 invalid cid. It just says [ERROR]7.

Learn to read before you start yelling at someone.

Ok... 1st off all... CALM DOWN and be polite.
Now... the update takes time indeed, but I think your problem is the file you downloaded, I think it came corrupt, that is why you are getting "C:\Program Files\cSro\Silkroad\sro_client is damaged, please try again."
Now tell me, that happens when you are updating right?
If so, it's what I think, redownload the client.
Remember, be polite otherwise I won't help you.

I'll be polite, but i'm just really in a bad mood because i want to play, and it's been 2 days now since I started downloading! This morning I started with the updating, and now I almost have to go to sleep again!

Anyway, I'm downloading the exe file from the chinese site now. I hope it will work this time.

Buuuut, now there is another problem *sigh*
I need to change my CID, but on the page where it explains how to change it, I'm kind of stuck. After I log in, where do I click? If I click the left button next to the pic of the woman, it just refreshes the page. I tried clearing my cookies but nothing happens.

You enter your name, password and the number given, and the press the red button... You are logged in.
Now at the left side of the woman there are 2 buttons, to change the cid you press the first one, the one on the left side, the most far away from the woman.

Yes I pressed it, but it just refreshes the page.

EDIT: After pressing and pressing and pressing over and over again, it finally directed me to another page.

You must be doing something wrong.

Dark Ashelin I have never seen anyone have this much trouble installing cSRO. I would just stop trying and play a different SRO.

Lol, it's working now, exept for the Options button at the startup.
Maybe all the problems are because I'm using Vista. =P

Anyway, I've played it for 30 minutes now and I was wondering, is cSro the version that has legend 7? Because I don't really see anything new exept for the unlocked areas. And it looks like iSro has a lot more in the Item Mall too.
I'm going to check Hotan as soon as I get enough money.
