so because i couldnt login to isro i decided to download jsro and i did.

and now im in and its fun and quiet

anyone else playing jsro? someone could join so there would be more fun lol XD

i thought they have euro but they dont :shock:

just larger map then isro

weeeh rly? well myb they're like isro ones and they will let us be. like bots only legit.

im having fun exploring town lol. like this: game machine. my japanese is not so good but i can read that its a game lol

to all who want to play there is little problem. now when i installed the jsro i can't play isro. it overwrote it i guess. i can give step to step but people who dont have japanese installed on their pc will see just ?????.

That's what I heard as well.
kSRO wants only Koreans, no matter where you're from.
cSRO doesn't care much, although I heard that they were implementing something if you weren't an Adult, so you can only play a certain amount of time a day.
iSRO doesn't care about ANYTHING - not where you're from, since it's INTERNATIONAL SRO, and not anything else either.
And I heard that jSRO bans anyone within a day or two if you don't have a Japanese IP address.

And at the TS - you need to save your different versions of SRO's to different folders, or of course they'll overwrite each other.

But yeah, I play JSRO. I'm on Indus, have lvl 40 and lvl 17 character. Both Glaive.

All the non Japanese people I know got banned in a few days. I'm still playing however.

If they find out you are playing through non-Japan IP, they will ban your account. If you go to silkonline.jp and translate some of the pages, you will see that they ban around 2000 accounts monthly for botting and foreign IPs.

True. Right now, there is no GM characters in jSRO(or rarely see them).
However, mods do look for "foreign" players and ban
if they find out that you are accessing with non-Japanese IP address.

YES it will overwrite. You need to move(or copy) following directories(folders)

kSRO only wants Korean. You need "Resident registration number" to register.
cSRO.... I don't know much.
iSRO restricts ones with KOREAN, CHINESE, and JAPANESE IP address.
We can't even look at website( http://www.silkroadonline.net/ ). needs proxy.
jSRO (technically)wants Japanese only too.But they only look at your IP address from logs they take.
If you are accessing with non-Japanese IP, they will ban.
(there are non-Japanese players though.)

(not only for botting, but) yes mods ban 2000~3000 accounts monthly.

banned 4,280 accounts in Feb., 2007
banned 3,398 accounts in March, 2007
banned 5,391 accounts in Apr., 2007
banned 3,064 accounts in May, 2007

right now im in Japan.
obviously i cannot login to iSRO so i play jSRO.
in jSRO:
- In 1 IP Address, you can only register ONE(1) account. PERIOD.
- they already have the Euro Patch(Fantasy Odessy) and the Level cap rise. my GM is Lv84 and my CO-GM is Lv90.
- many people (High Level players) have SOM and SOSun weapons. >.<
- Only few players are playing now in jSRO according to my GM because the people already reach Lv90. (lol)
- it is so HARD to communicate ingame with other players IF you do not know how to speak japanese! hahaaha. good thing i got the basics!
- Im very lucky. Because my GM, Co-GM and Unionmates know how to speak English though not so good but atleast they can understand what im saying and i can understand what they're saying. heheheh

so basically, iSRO and jSRO is the same. just the language used and the level (max) differs.

You cannnot register with 1 e-mail address.
(needs more to register,but it's a violation of the rules)

1st time me and my jap friend registered using his laptop. he registered 2 accounts. we play for 1 day. then on the second day, we got banned. and on our separate emails we got a NOTICE from GM that its not possible to register 2 accounts on 1 IP.. =(
so i used my laptop instead and register my own account. now im still playing. hehehe =D

What if he/she had a brother/sister who plays SRO?
They would have the same IP.
MODS may look suspicious at them, but they haven't violated the rules.

(for mods,) if they detect accesses to two or more accounts by one IP address,
they suspect that you have two or more accounts.
I think that's why your accounts were banned (temporarily)

on OASIS server many players have SOM and SOSun. im so jealous. >.<
