When i try to start cSRO it coms up a window that sro_client.exe have meet a problem and have to shut down.

need help i want to play cSRO..

me to i have the same prob.

already downloaded the client 4 or 5 times and always the same prob manual patched or automatic patched same prob walways getting sro_client error

Are you downloading via the torrent? I have the same problem, using the torrent version, as there's too much "traffic" (or whatever the computing term is) to download otherwise. Think'll I wait a week or so (got exams anyway)

Maybe the problem, as I downloaded via torrent, and have this error.

nah not becouse of torrent i downloaded from torrent and direct link and they gave me error.

What do u guys do?Do you open the launcher,select division,click start and then u get the don't send error sro_client?Thats what i'm doing and I haven't found a solution for this yet ....any help would be really apreciated

well i just tried also with windows vista and i still have ERROR.

dont know but im almost sure its client error.

ok prepare yourselves to start playing euro chars.





1 - install client and manual or automatic update it
2 - download and extract to your silkroad folder -> http://bbs.srocn.com/viewfile.asp?ID=40338
3 - run sro_patch.bat
4 - wait till its over and you have a file called data22.pk2
5- rename data.pk2 to data1.pk2 or whatever you want
6 - rename data22.pk2 to data.pk2
7 - start game and happy gaming

Thanks a bunch! But, anyway to turn this to English? Can't seem to find the language in the new "Data" file Or do I have to edit the original Data?

you have to hex your media.pk2 not data.pk2

do u got ur csro account?

if u got then just enter ur username and ur password in this link http://bbs.srocn.com/viewfile.asp?ID=40338

and then u will taken to the forum page...


just close the page and click on the link again..and it will be downloadable..

i downloaded that archive about 3 times extracted it about 5 times or so still says the same message when i use the sro_patch.bat "no suitable patches where found"....anymore bright ideas pls?

hmm...

i dont want to stress u up...

but try to delete the isro and csro folder

restart the pc

install isro normaly..then update it normaly


make sure that isro folder is renamed with a differant name...

when installing csro install it normally and updated the game and everything do this for the client error u got


1-downloaded the rar file
2-i extracted to the csro folder
3-i clicked on the patch
4-i command promt application appears say (press any key to continue)
5-i pressed a key then i waited
6-then a long texts appears on the applications say im done..
7-closed the programe
8 i renamed data.pk2 to data1.pk2
9-i renamed data22.pk2 to data.pk2

wen i try to update the CSRO it reaches up to 94% then it says that i have encountered a probblem and it closes, then i try to dl the rar file from the link it says no suitable patches were found.....

wat should i do, resarting the computer and reinstalling the game made no difference ?

is ther any hope of plying CSRO ?

I think I may have the solution, as I had this too. WoLfFy
1. Reinstall Csro - But Do not patch at all.
2. Run the sro_patch.bat
3. Should work, rename Data and such.
4. Run Csro and let patch.
5. Enjoy.

*Edit - tried to Change the language - got back to the error, so play in Chinese for the time being *

should i also uninstall isro ?? or just csro ..... ??

i still ddnt try ur way but it looks fine, ty if it worked and tyvm if it ddnt work
