NGE Silkroad Online is a non-profit, free-to-play private server with a focus on team-play-activities. The server is completely free because donations are not possible. It offers a gaming environment for both casual and hardcore players. This server is promoting team-play and group activities in PvP and PvE.

Please join the discord channel, so activites between players can be organized when there are not many online.

During the registration process, players have the choice to either start directly with a Lv 110 account or to begin as a Lv 1 character.
With being able to instantly have a Lv 110 character, players immediately can participate in PvP activities like Battle Arena. This concept makes you “reward-for-kill” and “catch up” problems forget.

The server is based on TWSRO files. This provides interesting features that are not available in common vSRO files.

Players start with 11th degree Seal of Nova full blue +5 equipment and 11th degree Seal of Nova Weapons +9 from the respective NPCs.

Item Mall supply got heavily reduced. The most noticable adjustement is the removal of Immortal and Luck Stones. The reason is to make alchemy more risky and to balance the equipment. The only way to get items with Immortal is by drops.

Unfair scrolls such as damage & absorption scrolls and HP/MP increase scrolls are removed.

How to get the items?

NGE offers its players multiple ways to get their equipment. Due to that it is very easy to catch up and to have a competitive set in a rather short amount of time.

Battle Arena is one of the main activities in the server to promote team-play and group activities. Battle Arena will regularly take place every 30 minutes with a duration of 20 minutes.

Important: You are not allowed to use multiple characters during BA or be AFK in a way that affects other players gaming experience!!! Abusers will be warned and get temporary login restrictions.

Schedule:

Capture the Flag (Random): every straight hour [hh:00]
Capture the Flag (Party): every straight hour [hh:30]
Point Battle (Random): every odd hour [hh:00]
Point Battle (Party): every odd hour [hh:30]


The registration for Battle Arena is possible within 1 minute before the start of the match.
• Random matching arena (8v8): Players apply individually and randomly are divided into 2 teams upon the start. The scale of the battle is by default 8v8 with a minimum of 4v4.
• Party arena: Players gather in an autoshare party with the party leader making the registration. The scale of the battle is minimum 2v2 with a maximum of 8v8.

Players are rewarded with Arena Coins according to their team’s result. There is a limit of 50 Arena coins per day. Arena coins and rewards are account-bound to prevent abuse.

NGE is offering a Party Survival Arena clone that can be played up to 4v4. Please note, that this pvp event is still under construction and provides no prices. Matches last up to 5 minutes guaranteeing quick pvp action. Resurrection is not possible during the match.

Participation is possible once the GM is activating the registration via Survival Arena Manager NPC.

• maximum participants: 4

① Game notice "Party Survival Arena event registration is open now."
② Party Master is registering his party at the Survival Arena Manager NPC.
③ When 2 teams are registered, they will be teleported to the event area.
④ A notice will appear "Survival Arena has started". Players will have 1 minute to prepare for the battle.
⑤ The battle will start (duration up to 5 minutes). The team gains one point either by killing all opponents or by having killed more enemies than the opponent's team after the Battle Phase (5 minutes) is over. If both teams have killed an equal number of enemies when the Battle Time is over, then both teams will get one point.
⑥ Both teams will get teleported back to the starting position for the next round. The event is played as a best of 5. Players start with filled berserker each round. The use of berserk potions is not possible.
⑦ The team which reaches 3 points first is winning the Survival Arena event.
⑧ Players will be teleported back to town and the event is over. Players can register for a new match anytime.

Forgotten World dungeon provides players with Seal of Nova equipment and encourages teamplay. With 6 different grades it offers players the possibility to either go alone, with a small group or a complete party. It provides flexibility and gives everyone the chance to gain his equipment without worrying about reward-for-kill.

Dimension Holes can be bought from NPC in town for free.


Completing the talisman collection will be rewarded with a 11th degree Seal of Nova Power or Fight weapon of your choice. The quest itself got moved to Grocery Trader Jinjin in Jangan.


Special feature: Speedrun ranking!

In NGE, going to Forgotten World offers you a special feature: Forgotten World Speedrun ranking. The players that complete the Forgotten World dungeon with the fastest time will be shown on the [url="http://www.ngesro.website/en/?p=fgwspeedrun"]website[/url].

The top ranked players are rewarded with a luxury title that provides access to berserker potion "Energy of Life 5th degree" giving increasing berserk gauge by 17 seconds.

The Mirror dimension offers a place for monster hunting with a higher difficulty. Monsters Lv 110-120 can be found in this area. Completing the quests is very rewarding.

This server is offering the 2-job-system. That means players either can be Hunter or Thief that can be selected from the character login screen.

Currently the Target and Consignment trading is disabled!

Job Temple:

Job Temple is an PvE and PvP area that only can entered when wearing a job suit. Thieves and Hunters enter from different locations.



Inside the temple players find different uniques that can drop equipment. Every unique has a quest that provides AP & Arena coins.

Players can get additional rewards (Arena coins) for completing a repeatable quest during Forgotten World dungeon. The quests is available for ★3 & ★4 grade difficulty. Please speak to NPC Doctor Renenutet in Alexandria south.


※　Job Temple:

Job Temple is an PvE and PvP area that only can entered when wearing a job suit. Thieves and Hunters enter from different locations.

Inside the temple there are monsters and in specific times uniques.


Selket, Neith, Anubis and Isis rooms can be entered by every job, both from hunters and thieves. To make Hareoris appear for either Hunters or Thieves, players need to gather AP-points. AP points are gained from a quest line for the uniques. Talking to Job Union Representative NPC players can start quests for the uniques. Hitting the unique once is enough to make the quests work. So every player that is participating in killing the unique will be rewarded equally. The quests will give BA coins and AP points. The uniques will drop 11th degree Seal of Nova Egypt weapons & shield and 11th degree Seal of Nova equipment.
The fraction that killed the unique will be rewarded with AP points and will be able to enter Hareoris unique’s room.
Note: Job can be changed anytime with job changing scrolls at Grocery NPC. That way every player can take part in unique killing.

※　Triangular Conflict (Job System):

The Job system is as players are used to it. With one exception: the job can be changed anytime by using a scrolls from Grocery NPC. There are no penalties when changing the job and your job EXP is not lost. For every job (hunter, trader, thief), you will need to create an alias (job name). However, the alias will stay once you picked it for each job.
The job system’s main purpose is to have fun and to gain gold. The transport COS for trading will change their HP depending on the character’s level.

※　Alchemy:

Item plusing:
Alchemy is working as original. However there is a +ing limit of +10 (with advanced elixier) for non-sealed items. Limit is +12 for Shield and Weapons. Sealed items have no +ing limit.

Immortal Stones:
Important: Immortal stones completely got removed. They can NOT be gained, neither from Item Mall nor from ingame activities. Thus plusing items above +5 can be risky.

Elixiers:
Elixiers are obtained by hunting monsters in the open world or inside dungeons.

Advanced Elixiers:
Normal Advanced Elixiers can be obtained as drops from Forgotten World and Holy Water Beginner temple. Sealed Advanced Elixiers can be obtained as drops from Forgotten World 3* & 4* and Holy Water Temple Intermediate & Advanced dungeon.

Magic Stones:
Magic stones are obtained by hunting monsters in the open world or inside dungeons. Drop rate is increased to make sure players can have competitive equipment in a reasonable amount of time.

Socket Stones:
Socket stones are dropped inside Forgotten World dungeon. When adding Socket stones to items, they will be Max. Lv.

※　Skill Balance:

Many skills got adjusted to R-version of Silkroad as it is well balanced there. A few more skill changes got implemented. A complete list of skill changes you find here.

No, it's online. This server been running since about 1 year now. Though, during October it got transfered to files that include 2nd skill bar.

It's easy to "catch up" if you are somewhat active and participate in activities such as FGW, Job Temple uniques and Battle Arena.

Oh, before you ask: yes, we need more players. Quitting cause of "no players online" just will keep the vicious circle. Be active, invite your friends, help advertise and I'm sure NGE can grow.

Mirror area with mobs Lv 111~120 has been added. The quests there give a nice amount of Arena Coins as reward. Cap will stay Lv110 with 11th degree.

This server is online for 2 years now without any donations. It's truely free to play. There is no way to buy silk. You earn your stuff with ingame activities.

NGESRO is a private server project that is non-profit and free to play.
It is driven by an ever lasting fascination for the game mechanics and art style, as well as learning about the technical background.
This server is targeted to more mature players to have educated chats, make friends and learn new things.

Players are supposed to use the given game activities and organize in game or via the discord server by themselves.
There is not much GM activity in the game or the discord server, nor is the GM in any way responsible to entertain the players.
The only GM hosted event currently planned for the future, are 1vs1 PvP events in the S1-Area, which you can enter
via the Event So-OK NPC in Jangan town.

Please note that updates and bug fixes may take some time to complete.
Suggestions regarding the gameplay system are welcome and will be taken into account for future updates.
