I am not the owner, but i think this server could be the perfect place for a lot of the lost silkroad community.
Why? Because this server is 100% oldschool Cap 60. No modifications. No eu chars. No pay 2 win. This server could be awesome, BUT we need the good old community. Currently the server is olmost empty, but give it a try and let us make it full, hunt some uniques, do some trades and make pvp with lv 30.
Oh and before i forget, there are just the important things in the item mall, so everyone get 9999 silk to buy the items, such much as you need

The problem is, this server needs to be more public. Currently it is boring to start there because we need a player community, but i hope that you understand what we must do then. We must grow slowely and make us a name as the biggest oldschool classic cap 60 server You all can help, when you just give this server a try.

Sounds fine, but the server seems so empty. Have fun, though. Would love to see some screenshots for that good old-school feeling

This server is decent. You get free 2x XP/SP scrolls but that's about it. No fancy SoX + 7 auto-gear or free potions.

The mastery limit is 300, so five skill trees. It's around 150,000 skill points, so a 6-gap will do it. I'm running a 7-gap and have earned about 3,000 skill points after 15 hours. I'm level 18.

Globals are free and usable at level 30. Grab pets are free and usable at level 5. Wolves are normal cost. Drop rates are normal; people typically vend their drops.

Trading is great. Even though we don't have a huge number of players, I see traders a few times daily. Uniques are also solid. Only Tiger Queen (Tiger Girl) is killable at the moment. It's a slower, more epic process than I've experienced on other servers, since all of our gear is average. We don't have many players above 30, so Uruchi is out of reach.

I think this server is going to last a while. It feels nostalgic and non-contrived. If you do join, don't do it to get to level 60 in the shortest possible time. Do it to enjoy the journey there. That's what the original SRO was.

Pretty quiet, there are about 30-40 people.

My guild leader just got banned for botting. It's unpleasant but it shows that the GM gives a shit about the community.

Excluding us there are four guilds I know of. Two consist mainly of German speakers, one is based in the US (which I'll probably join after our guild dissolves), and one is...I don't know where they're from.

Solo XP parties are standard. There's a lot of conversation in these parties, so the grinding isn't boring. I imagine when more people show up, there'll be more X/8 parties.

Still seems solid.
