Build Halp

So, I'm currently considering making an int spear on Myth, for shits and giggles, and I figured I'd ask you kralls what you thought about it.

Few things:

1. Hybrid or Pure?

Currently undecided. If I go pure, I'd probably go ice/light.

If I go Hybrid, I'm thinking about a heavy hybrid, like 103% mag balance with FB gear.

Question is, if I go that hybrid,

1. Is it viable? I've been told that after 100% mag or phy the damage doesn't scale as well as it does before 100%.

2. Thinking about maxing out fire/spear and then trying some hybrid mix of ice/light. Maybe like 48 light (12% mag attack bonus) and 77 ice (45% snow), or something along those lines.

Note: Max snowshield at 125 cap is 70%.

Which begs the question, should I just go fire/ice if I'm that hybrid? Or would light/ice still be better?

I could also, possibly, try some sort of max light/spear and do a mix of fire/cold. And if so, what ratio should I go for? 90ice/35 fire (8% phy damage increase)

Mainly looking to face rape warriors/rogues. And everything else. *Cept warlocks, **** them)

Thoughts?

I like hybrid spear nukers more, but I don't know if you should go that heavy. In my experience, best spear nuker build is 1:6 int hybrid, but I don't know if that's good at 125 cap, or 130.
In my opinion, heuksal/fire/ice, fire has stronger nukes (stronger than light nukes + buff), phy att buff, passive, stronger imbue. I never liked splitting that masteries, doing 60/40 light/ice or something like that.

I'd try 1:7 ice/fire. It's krall at 100cap

I've always gone fire/ice.

But at 125 light mag attack gives like 22% magical attack buff.

That's fairly substantial.

And that light parry would help against strs....

Not to derail but how active is this server, like Myth from before or..? As in fortwars, battle arena (I thinks that's what it's called, if it's even present in this server)

playing Pokemon again making me wanna play sro again :3

Fort wars are pretty damn active.

But overall, the server is in a bit of a hiatus. Like, there's still enough action to keep me entertained, but a lot of people are waiting for 130 cap + new area expansion, so that things will be more balanced.

I might try a similar hybrid spear build. Probably add around 12-15 levels str then pure int to cap.

I don't really know about 110 cap or higher, but if you want try light spear nuker imo you should try something like 1:7. You said you want rape warriors, so you need high dmg (=high int) to kill them before they heal and enough hp to survive their kd-dd-whateverrogueattack combos.

I downloaded it, I'll try to play when I have more time. Don't really mind lack of activity at lower levels, am Chinese master race :roll:

Btw is the job system the 1st, 2nd or 3rd one?

Mmmmmmmmmmmm....I forget which options are which.

But it's like how it was on Salv. Only you get coins you need for final set by killing other hunters/thieves/traders.

They're working on implementing a system so that you get coins from trading/robbing too.

^that actually sounds awesome :o. atm I am leveling my self up, loving the free sox, I'll try to get in contact with you guys

Edit; question, how are blades on this server? Kind of getting annoyed by spear because I'm too indecisive over fire or light -.-
