I don't understand your explanation of the trading. You made the prices 100x higher, is the reward 100x higher as well then? If not then what's the point in upping the prices? It's just more gold you can lose if you get robbed.
increasing goods prices is best solution rather than increasing the rates, otherwise thief job will be useless if trade rates will be increased. You cannot increase thief rate cuz people will cheat drop and sell it in thief town for easy money.
If the goods purchase price is higher, ofc you get higher profit when you sell it. Only downside to this system especially for lower level to do trade is that they don't have enough gold to begin trading in the first place cuz goods prices are 100x higher than nomral.
