Instant lvl 70 would be cool, if the gear was FB and maximum plussed.
http://fun.queensro.com/ Check that server out for fair pvp.
Otherwise, it would be nice to see parties going on, but when I joined the server, everyone was in egyptian gear already and didn't have to party anymore for coins.

Rates were too low, I prefer playing as a lonewolf and at the time that I played you got an exp penalty for being in a 4/4 party IIRC so I thought **** it!

I'd always play with you.

That is kind of cool that all the gear is the same. But even still, warriors and rogues would still face roll everyone. OP builds are OP.
Besides, the gear "imbalance" is still better then just about every other private server. (With the exception of the one you listed). And while I wouldn't mind everyone having the same gear, Alchemy gives capped out players something to do. So eh. And all you really need is a +5 egy set to be competitive. Which is easy.

There was a max of like...20 people on at any given time and it was really boring.

At the time I was enrolled in summer classes and working while playing HoN and WoW.
Every time I logged on, it was as if Sam was always on at the same time, kinda creepy.

This and this. I played at the very beginning, the server's setup wasn't quite my cup of tea.
After I quit there I quit SRO altogether pretty much, I'll hop on a server once every 1-2 weeks just to mess around.
I'm not going to bother with this garbage game until SRO 2 launches, which will likely be released in 10 years with a ridiculous item mall and absurd EXP/SP requirements, again.
The only reason I was at Salvation was because of Tasdick, full homo.

Oh Rawr, you sexy bastard, you. (I still feel like I should show up at your house randomly some day, just for shits and giggles).
And yeah, server population being low was always a bit of a turn off. Guess the amazing people that were there, as well as the idiots I trolled so hard that they raged whenever they saw me (Onse), made it enjoyable.
I suppose my favorite things about Salvation are:
1. The people.
2. The balance between builds. You don't have to be a warrior or rogue to win in 1v1.
3. The lack of botters.
4. No stupid bitches with +14 gear/weapons, which is how it is on every other server. Sure egy was an advantage, but even an egy person could die. Unlike on other servers where gear > everything else.

Same, except I'm not downloading it.
Also, everyone started quitting in the guild and I guess I just went with the flow, the BA's where almost always against the same people, the fortress was dull because no one would come or if it did it was some joke with 10 people vs like 100, making us camp the entrances to the fortress and waiting for people lol.
Was some good first months in the server though, had alot of fun with the people I played with.

Because it's boring running around capped with nothing to do. I liked Esro for that reason (never capped, lot of partying)

Pretty sure I capped on Esro within like a week. Max.
And back in the day, there was always something to do IMO. Whether it be jacking huge inf trades, doing my own huge ass trade, killing a unique, doing BA, FGW, or just random PvP, I was never really "bored". Idk. Guess I'm just easily entertained. =]

Started pretty much when the server launched. I got to 46 solo, then it got boring and I quit.

the changes. I think it had major effect on the server never getting big. 70cap with 80-90 level skills, gear with a lot of HP and so on. Some of the build changes were alright but still, too much. the 70 cap should have felt nostalgic right? salvation is not even close to that.
the people. some were so Farking annoying I can't explain it. I left because of people few times. The last was because of lolerbeast and 3rdcoming. I didn't have this problem in other servers, sure were some pricks but they don't try to put you down every time they see you. salvation has a "smarter" player base which also means the players are a lot more ignorant.
silkroad being an old game. a lot of people got bored of it. I doubt sro is getting any new players too.
