For any who are looking for something new and don't visit epvp, turns out there is a new server based on Silkroad-R files. I believe the rates are between 30 and 50x now even though the site says 200x. Either way you start with 5m sp and a sun 9d + 10 prot set and other stuff.

Trying logging into the site after you register to ensure that your account was created as the site sometimes has problems with the register page.

So, somebody got the SilkroadR database, it would seem.
Well, I guess we can expect a lot of these servers around soon then.

This will always leak. A good friend of the admin will eventually convince him to share it with his friend. His friend will share it with his closest friend and so on till someone finally releases it on Elitepvpers. It's just a matter of time.

Hmmm, might give this a try. Not that this private server seems particularly nice, but I wanted to try the new Silkroad-R and I wasn't very psyched about joining a joymax owned server again to do that.

Thought it might have been fun to get some characters to 81 and then PvP with others who do the same, since you get a full 9D SUN set +10. If you just leave it clean, then no one outgears the other person. But when I got to Samarkand the game crashed and everytime I try to relog it immediately crashes again. Ah well... Might try again tomorrow.

Would be nice to see a serious private server using Silkroad-R files one day if possible, kinda like Silkroad Salvation, but without everyone running around with bling bling weaponry.

Cool server, but they changed the starting items from +10 9D to +0 >.>.

The "new town" was a huge let down for me. Totally isolated and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Wish there had been some grinding areas, or something. Oh well. =(

For a new town you would need to create new terrain for it to sit on. So far he can only place objects. Don't know how though, I don't like the map.pk2, weird extensions.

Might need one after the beta But don't see the use of it during. (Except to test if everything works of course)

Hope we get a huge ex-salvation/SRF union or at least guild after beta, am having troubles with downloading the client, had to restart the download after 90%, another 8 hours >.<

Is this the same server as Myth? I have the client for X-treme, not Myth... and download for myth is taking forever!

nope, myth is completely different, you need to download it, am still waiting for a torrent download, downloading at 20Kbps now =D will take more than a day if it will continue like that lol.

I'm downloading at 150Kbps... 2hrs remaining, well, that's what it said this morning when I left for class, 4 hours ago.
