S/S Nuker... on SRO-R

Post by LeonMrt »

Hello mateys, need some serious help here. I started playing 2 days ago SRO-R, it is almost the same as iSRO, but with some minor changes that are killing me.

First the class, S/S pure int nuker, I gave it 10 pts. to STR but every other point will go to INT. Now, when I level up any of the Force tree, every goes up, Cold, Fire and Lightning, what bothers me now, I always played with Wizard/Cleric, but the Chi chars are AWESOME so far I can tell.

1. Someone told me to take just the Fire imbue, when I cast it EVERY nuke (from lightning and cold tree) will do higher damage, is it true?

2. Can I take Lightning nuke and Fire nuke, so when I've casted one the others cool down will go to 0, so I won't need at all the Bicheon tree... (that confuses me the most) If I'm full INT I should concentrate on making the most out of my magic attacks, not PHY.

3. Cold has some good buffs like the Frost Guard, force e.g. Ghost walk, fire also something good, so I should take every buff from every tree?

I know it's quite long, but I would really, really appreciate if you could help me out,

Big Thanks :)

Yes, it is true. It is good to take cold imbue too, because it helps you to kill giants and high hp mobs. It freezes mobs so they hit slower and you don't die so easily.

Yes, you can take and you must take fire and lightning nukes. You are pure int and I prefer you to take some of s/s skills, like combos (73+ combos give statuses), passive (higher blocking rate), shield technique series (much phy def or br for 15sec.) etc. because they helps you to kill mobs faster and keeps you alive.

Yes, take every buff.
Edit. This secton is for private servers and SRO-R is official, so you could ask in here http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewforum.php?f=29

Hi Fauntleroy, thanks for you answers, and I've originally posted it in Q&A, but found it 1 minute later here. Anyway, so if I take the bicheon and nukes, what should I use in grinding (I never do PVP).

Start with nuke, if you cant 1 hit mob, use lightning shout or fast bicheon skill. If you fight against high hp mob (pt, giant etc.) sometimes use kd (if you have low hp), stabs (always after kd) and combos (lightning chain gives good statuses that makes enemy weaker).

You can always put the fire imbue at the quick slot.

I think the only thing that is pretty helpful at the bicheon is the shield technique series (That physical defence buff is a life saver) and the quick (kinda ranged) bicheon skills as a finisher and the passives of course
So in the first week in college i went with jeans and the pajama's shirt. Didn't notice what i was wearing till after i returned home.
