Do they work? I've got the courage key, how/where should I use it.. I googled it and it appears to be disabled in most official versions.

They do work, i didn't test it yet but you need to go to jangan cave, there are rooms for each type of key IIRC, there is a box in the middle of the room, you have to kill some mobs around it and open it with the key and get a random gift it can be buff or spawn elite mobs or vigors or invalid repair SoX.

You only have to kill mobs if someone else left them there. Once you get in the room you talk to the treasure box. It will indeed attack you, spawn mobs or give you gifts.

And what about key of trials? There aren't room called "trials".
