Gonna have to wait for that tutorial from Yo123 because most of the process is way over my head. I'd be interested in an SrfSro server.

You think you can set up a private server just with a tutorial? It's not that easy and i doubt a tutorial can explain everything. Even if you should get the server actually, i am sure you'll have a lot of bugs and can't fix them.

Can anyone get in contact with babbe or synx. If not ill start to play around with it.

I've been grinding 3 days and I'm already bored to death of it.

But since this is SRF people will want something like 3x rates at 110 cap.
I'd be fine with that if we went by caps, though.

I'll probably do what I did in iSRO/ECSRO/ZSZC/ESRO1 here soon, play a bit, then stop.

I could cap every char I have this week [ESRO, ZSZC, BSRO, DSRO, etc] but I really don't care enough about the game to do so.

Edit: DSRO is passing time until BF3 gets here, after that I may be done for good.

Since our server can't handle that many slots, we can't go for SRFSRO(but it will be good enough for Estonian SRO ). I'll just wait for someone to do it then.

Well, in my honest opinion, 50x exp/100x sp would be good enough, no need to make it any higher than that.

Well rates like bloody (35x xp), with an sp rate that we can 0 gap to 110 is fine .

Hm, i doubt they would do something like that. Currently they are mainly working on a private server for Aion and most of them are going to try GW 2.

Actually, they seemed semi-serious in vent the other day. Fly was like, "If everyone is more interested in a sro pserver, then Aion pserver, we'll do that".

Now, talk is one thing. We'll see if it actually happens or not.

Yesterday I almost got the server to run. I see there is a new guide so I'll follow that and get it setup. I believe I am missing one table. I'll let you know how it goes when I get off work later this afternoon. I would give you guys an ip yet I don't pay for upload speed lol.

Maybe they should make a poll about it then? Then we could vote, which private server we would prefer (SRO private server ofc).

Ok I watched the tutorial and I will try my 3rd attempt at making the server for my local machine. If I am successful I could attempt to set it up on a VPS that is if one is provided to me.

Its official, Avalon is making a pserver. Fly is just adjusting the server settings to make it more legit friendly. Between him and Cruor they have it all working, its just a matter of hosting and testing from here.

Let's hope they meet out expectations

I believe it should be like:
1 server running as a PVP server meaning fully farmed when joining and just a few kills to reach 110. For epic pvp matches!
1 server starting from 60 cap and slowly moving upwards with somewhat low rates. The sp rates should be adjusted though. Like... 5x exp and 8x sp.
1 server starting at 110 with the same rates at server two, for people who don't want to wait for the caps to increase.

Avalon has set up a temporary forum at their guild forum to discuss the project and get input from the legit community. If you dont know the address, you probably shouldnt be there. lol
