Alright I have been trying to play for about a week now but I keep having the same problem. I have downloaded and redownloaded the client but every time I open the client and click on a server to play, I get a pop up window that says the server is offline. I have turned my fire wall off and tried that way to but its a no go. I even tried to copy the folder and everything from my buddies computer but even that didn't work.

Any ideas would be lovely. :D

Delete the silkroad folder then disable your virus scanner. Extract silkroad again then try to run it. If it works add the folder or silkroad.exe as a excluded file in your virus scanner settings. Dunno if this will help or not tho, but others had to do this before.

lol btw make sure your not running a firewall and that your router is port forwarded for the correct ports (no idea lol routers are not my specialty)
