I just got the source to it the other day thanks to some friends  I don't believe it's their most recent, and it still has its problems. Though I'll fix it up and see what I can do.

There are some little annoying bugs to fix, I'll do my best though, might be able to set up a decent server without Hamachi, I just need to figure out a work around, then we should be able to release custom SRO, to connect to ours. We want to try to make this easy to operate, even better than private servers.

So now you are a programmer/coder? I think you might have some trouble, seeing as the people that worked on it from day 1 had trouble fixing the bugs.

Also you're a little late. We've already tried a server out of SeaShadow. There is a guide that even a 5 year old could follow to make a server without hamanchi. Also level cap is 140 with 110 skills.

Sorry to poop on your dream :soosad:

Too lazy to post full details, but I kind of gave on it, a friend of mine revived it with a emulator

Good news, anyone who has the latest iSRO only needs a loader (to redirect to the hamachi ip)
Yes you will need hamachi

This is a test server, plenty of bugs, but a lot better compared to the prior attempt

Testing will be up today, i'll give the link to the loader and hamachi info

^_^ See you soon

hey cbkilla,

we saw you registered

our login creation atm maybe bugged, we're gonna reset the server and see if it resolves

If not it will be down until we get it fixed :D

***FIXED****
Account creation won't immediately work, we need to go change some values

we'll fix some things

Also if you can't make a character

try to only make the name in numbers

Hotan teleport is sometimes glitched

btw, cbkilla try it

Item mall doesnt work, but I can spawn avatars

Sorry guys, the temp. server is currently being hosted at a home ip, and where it's located, there is a blizzard going on, so the internet cuts in and out, so just keep retrying check the website

also, make sure you make a backup of your silkroad folder, just in case the updates don't role out as fast as jm

We have about 10 accounts register so far. You can get on and grind guys, except for wizard. It will be hard to lv as euros do to fact that there isn't parties. Other than that and some other things, you guys can get headstarts on your leveling

I'm gonna register just to check it out, lol. I mean, it's fast as I already have silkroad installed. What are the rates though?

EDIT: Registered now, gonna download that loader thing and hamachi :)

you don't need hamachi, and the rates were changed last nite, but I forget to what, but they are decent

Alright, I just got back from dinner.
Game started now :)

EDIT: I can't seem to login.... the client can start, and I can see your server. However, nothing happens when I try to connect to the server itself. Maybe it's because I can't use that loader thingy correctly.

if you have MSN, could you please send me a pm with it? Skype can do too ;)

Can you tell me what emulator you used? I want to try this on my own PC for testing purposes if possible. Would apreciate if you show me/ upload the files required to start this on youre own.

who said it was an "emulator", well it emulates, but it's not like the emulator you know and hate. We have a quite a few people work on the servers codes. Like right now, we're making the server able to send slots to the sql database, so it'll save.
