On the 16th of jauary the update to lvl 110 will be opened.
If we need a new client or it will update with the old client i can't tell right now.
I got told we update the old one.

I can't seem to get the password to work on the patch

Was wondering I heard that there might be a new server coming out with the update...could anybody confirm or deny this?

i can't really help you if the password doesn't work, it is the official one so it has to work.

and i don't know if they are going to open a new server.But they haven't announced anything

Maybe it could be the 'Pure Chinese Server', that they said about, a server with only chinese characters and maps? Just a thought.

That's because you have not set Chinese as your language.. I've been told you can use 7-zip to by-pass the password!

not bypass more like the password works without needing to change the language

When I got to the side I downloaded the file.
Kinda wierd is that it only had 1Gb and the other downloads I've seen (who didnt work) had like 2.5GB. Did I download the wrong one?

Also when I started silkroad and wanted to update it, it updated for 7 hours and than broke of at like 85%.
I tried to update it again but that time it already stopped working at 5%.

Now Im searching for an updated version, cause even if it takes forever to download, I can download it with nettransport, which is save.

Can anyone help me pls?

I had 1.155, i'm screwed, i can't update with the patch, it needs to update automatically and it takes forever plus it gets an error and stops updating, when that happens i need to restart the update from the beginning
So yeah anyone got the newest version installed that could upload for us?

Its very simple , just download the regular 1.148 client. After it installs , just download the 1.148-1.157 patch which u can download from here

after wards just download the 1.157-1.159 patch which is around 200MB which can be downloaded here

Than just update normally to 1.160 which is just 20 seconds. Than enjoy the new update

Ok i got another problem (I know I got many problems )
I've installed silkroad and now want to update it with the patch.
But I dont know that much about patches...
When I double click on the patch it says:
???? "Silkroad"
"Silkroad" ???,???????

What do I do?

Also: The 2. link doesnt work.....
And the first link I downloaded it tried everything and kinda found out that the language is korean.....but I thought it was the patch for csro.....

EDIT: ok the 2. link does work after all. My Internet today is just so slow, I thought that the page wasnt loading at all. But after some time it loaded it

There is a 2x exp/sxp event going on, which started right after the update, so you are wrong..

The links do work. But the patches dont. At least not for me...

Btw I updated it now. Tokk 12 hours did it over night.
It didnt stop in the middle of the download this time

Now the only thing i need is the media thing

afaik this server with the +77 weapons is there for testing the lvlup speed.
Joymax told them that they won't change the required exp so they want to test a bit and then make some kind of infinite exp event.
But i haven't read it myself, i just got told that it is like this from a chinese friend.But i don't know if his english skills were advanced enough to tell everything correctly. His english isn't the best
