Silkroad Online Forums

here is a short story :
1.they announced the new update ...took about 1 month to realy startdoing that.
2.After a month they made a test server whit 100 cap , but was full of bugs. I THINK that they don;t have a clue about what they are doing.
3. Servers PUBLIC/VIP were closed after 1 week or 2, after the test server was made in order to update them "oficialy "
4.Before server shut down for update they said in max 2,3 days ( or al least that was the impresion that they made) will be running whit 100 cap ( of cource not all bugs where solved, but it could be running ).
5. After 1 week of "updating" no news and people start talking : what is going on, give us some news etc..etc..
6. The "forum" ( that is not a realy forum cause they aprove what threads THEY WANT) has language section : romanian, turkish and german.
As the players start talking whit those moderators , we told them that is TIME TO TAKE ATTITUDE and let us post ...which it happend.
7. The next day after language moderators let us speek on that " forum" they shut down the forum because they cannot let people see the truth.
END.
IT SHOWS HOW THEY ARE RUNNING BUSSINESS.
no transparency, no free speak on their forums, no news after 1 week.
I invested, as their TOS sais( at my risk ) some money for silk and others !
My point is that i am aware it was on my own risk , but i will stop here playing ECSRO because this is probably the worst private server that is !
I say this based that i am a player of that servers and based my experience whit ECSRO ( i am sorry if anyone else is afended by this post).

EDIT: i wrote this here cause their " forum" is dead , and silkroadforums is one where people speack free and is visited. Hope ecsro people start talking here.
I feel like a looser now for playing their servers .

I am not complaining about my money invested. The ideea of ECSRO was great : silkroad whit 100 cap at small scale where friends can join and play , have fun etc.
Mods please move this thread to where it should be .
For me GD seems ok.

if u think just because the exp is x10 u get lvl 90 in one day ?
u try it. I will hit lvl 90 in about 1 month!!!

smoti, do u realize that the ECSRO team has only like 3 pk2 editors? The game is not simple to edit, and with 3 people of course its going to take a long time. This private server is not a company based on providing the best possible consumer value, they just have this server to make money and to have fun running it. Regardless, they still have fantastic customer service. And also, that TOS is exactly he same as iSRO TOS am i wrong?

You don't have the right to an open server at all times, its theirs to do whatever they want with. The ECSRO team has done nothing wrong so stop whining.

My advice: dont play private servers unless its for testing a character build.

ECSRO is just a big fat money making machine for Ocean.
Their customer support shows that clearly -.-.
I would be surprised if Ocean let it die, but maybe he has so much money by now that he just gets tired of it ...
I hope esro will be better than that, at least they're not just greedy for money.

Actually it is. cSRO owners bought the files from Joymax. Just because it is huge doesnt mean its an official version of Joymax's SRO

lol and fembria has been "down" for 6 months and do you see us complaining? sure there might be a few here and there but they are mostly 13 year olds.

so im guessing ecsro just shut down there servers?

Even if it's taking very long, esro still looks solid so far, making a good quality server is harder than most people thought it would be and they're doing their best without help or financing, if not, it would be just another half ass private server like ecsro, swsro, sjsro, penissro, etc...
