Hi! I was thinking of starting to play Silkroad on either cSRO or kSRO and i ended up with cSRO as it seems to be the most popular for english player. So i made an account, downloaded the client but as i feared the ping is very high which makes me lag very bad. :/ Ocean VIP server was att 270ms to 335ms, so i wonder. How high is your ms and is it's just now or is it always laggy?

I just want to play some for fun, do some traderuns, do some partyplay but i just cant do it with the lag. I know that it also depends on where you live just want to check what ping the players get. (I live in Sweden for your information! ^^)

250~300 MS, absolutely no laggs

I had like 250-300 ms on cSRO, no lag at all.

Ok, played a little but i guess im spoiled with ECSRO's 180ms~. Going to give it a chance anyway.

You will pretty much dont see any difference, if you played ECSRO recently, you should fell in love for cSRO due the lag free servers. ECSRO is a bitch atm.

Ping: 300-350ms

Sometimes, like 2 times a hour it stucks for 2 seconds. But I don't really care :p.
From 1 december, my internet speed gets 3 times doubled .

P.s; With this ping I am playing with msn, internet explorer (like 3 times) and bittorrent on.

Considering iSRO got avg. 300+ ping i belive it wont be that bad.

i have to say it depends where you live and how is your internet provider.

i have lags on csro, thats why i quit it, but i live in israel and the internet here suck bad.... our providers dont give much bendwith

i tested on online speedtest to see the response from hong kong servers,

pretty lame. israel-china, not good. lol.

here is the test for new york server.


China is closer, but its more laggy for us, cuz the provider have a server on the US.

What? You should have a really badass delay. With my 250-300ms i can feel it.

mostly i dont see it much except for a few visual bugs, nothing too big to make me cry tho.

However, sometimes i do get ridiculous amount of lag, i stop playing then
