A friend sent this to me a while ago from another site, and it shocked me. . .so since I dont want to get my character banned that I spent 5 months playing on I will share this with you:

This is in relation to the free bots that have come to the Tsro servers used by many people here, and other communities. The reason why the bot thread was deleted was because the site that held the bots was Ddosed by angry TW players.

There is a debate going now on between Taiwanese players and GMS as to whether to ban all International players, because of the use of the free bot.

This has been done before, where a server had to ip ban all foreigners because of botting...

So my suggestion to you is to stop botting, and or looking/creating bots on tsro. The gms will NOT spend time to individually ban players, they will just ip ban everyone without a taiwanese ip.

Also, many taiwanese players actually KNOW about venus(and for some reason odin server...), and have seen many bot killing tricks from youtube which they apply a lot. . .

Anyway, just something you all need to know, if you continue to play on tsro.

well they might once they know that theyll get ip banned... I didnt believe it at first but recently there been a lot of ltps in matching and everyones been wondering why...so i joined a couple of them by english players... first

-they didnt respond untill about 20 minutes later with *no*

of course if he WASNT botting, then why did it take him 20 minutes to respond to me when it took him a split second to join me in? (obvious botters are obvious)

I was surprised cause I thought that tsro was bot free (at least for the non tw)

so hopefully the message will get across and the gms wont have to ip ban all foreign ips...

and I think the new community will be esro...when it comes out in October or whatever...

i was only half joking about that, as the main coder said he would get it out by the end of july, but that didnt happen, and now theyve seem to run into another problem because of the jm update and the change of the opcodes...

that can be arranged

how should the fire start? a random fire from an over heating computer and all the doors happen to be locked

not really, The gms can just ban us all(on tsro)

anyway I got a tw friend that's gonna talk to the gms. I told him to suggest that the gms put a warning in their in-game notice in english warning that foreign ips will be banned if foreigners continue to bot, this should be effective enough to scare the sh!t out of the botters there, also hes going to direct teh gms to the bots so that the gms can fix the client to disallow those bots (dunno if they can or will do that part though, since it would be easier to ip ban but well see)

but hes not going to do that untill after the 11th of august (since hotan fortres is coming to tsro then)

hopefully if the gms can do the notice thing, that would be effective enough to deter botting as to avoid banning the foreigners. . .of course if esro comes out before this...I will go there and not care about tsro anymore lol

Make sure they know why they are getting so badly pwned lol, as they run to the locked doors there should be a messege saying "safety is full, please try again later" or somethin lol >.>.

Shame. Ppl left iSRO for another version because they want to get rid of the bot problems and to have a good community. But ppl choose to bot just because they want to be better than others. How pathetic...

Isn't there a way to run your own sro on your computer? I think someone should start a SRFSRO for this community..

They know about avalon holding the fortress for two years, and have seen lots of videos of venus people killing bots. . .they use these same tactics now to kill foreign botters.

Btw.. i think most venus players moved to Tsro.. some1 said that but i dont remember who was he.. xD

Because of that, they are making it a csro based server. We will get all the updates csro has in esro once they finish them. afaik esro won't be releasing the fortresses at first to save time.

I really hope you guys don't move to another version, cause so far tSro got ruined and whichever one you go on will. The reason is not because of you, but because most botter's have an account on srf, they probably won't post on here so they can be assured they won't be banned (no ones gonna even know them if they don't post) and when they see you move they move too, now they will play legit (maybe) at the beginning but then they get the bot coder's to start on making a bot for that sro version, and the people who play that version get angry and want us ip banned.

Oh what a shame! Well, no more foreign versions for me. It¿s horrible to always be scared of being ip banned, so meh.

having a room in the caves to yourself and your 7 pt members. not having to fight for grinding spots. nice ppl that shout "good luck" as you leave town on a trade instead of "ý call my thýef friend. he own you"
the TW are nice too. bots better not ruin their game, coz that ruins my game. and the hell am i goin back to isro. or lagsro. or DCsro.
