everytime i go into donwhang i dc and then when i try to relog, i dc as soon as i login.

i've updated the new media and everything but this never happened before the new media...

if you have a 10th deg weapon pk2 edit in your media.pk2 it will crash the second you get within so many meters of a player holding a 10th deg weapon

i think that's what had been happening but i didn't .pk2 edit anything, just dl all the files...

It might be because of your graphics card or computer being unable to handle it. Possibly also internet connection stalling out unable to take in so much.

One of the ways I found that made it easier was to hold v during the load screen and keeping holding it until everything loads. This usually helped things load more quickly and fewer problems especially with lag.

my internet is fine and my graphics card is up to date.
