ECSRO Loader Crashing

ECSRO loader crashes when I start it up. I downloaded the new media file and since then it has been doing this. Redownloaded new data files to be sure and still same result. I have vista, running on compatibility of Windows XP or whatever, have tried running as Admin as well. Before installing new media files, it would work fine but crash soon after I got in due to the need of the new files.
Any idea of what i could do to fix it? or are others havin the same problem?

ECSRO is currently down for an undisclosed amount of time according to the main website. Doubt this has anything to do with your problem but you never know...

Nah the regular ECSRO public server is down, the rest of the ECSRO server group is still operational.

When one of the servers is down it does cause some peoples loaders to crash... Dont know why I would think its because your loader trys to connect to all 3 servers when it opens and not being able to connect to one gives it an error which affects some people more than others...
but it should go away when they get the public server back up and running

when i connected earlier, before updating the media file, the regular server was down. So i dont think its related.
At least i know someone else has the prob then though.

I always have the problem that when 1 server is down, i cant connect to any of the others.
Now that public is down, i get the notice "Silkroad Online Launcher encountered a problem" and all 3 servers are N/A, so i have to wait till all servers are back up running :|
Might be kind of ur problem too, just wait till public is back and it may work.

Simple solution, keep trying! I got this, after like 10 or 15 tries it just worked and said public offline only. so just keep trying however annoying it is.

you can do that on any version of windows since like NT or 3.0.
