well the sword can block so i would say sword due to that factor

int s/s is mostly better cuz u'll have the shield.
But pure int s/s is a bit too much int lolz, u'll still die a lot, I would go 8:1 s/s
7:1 spear also is a lot of int lolz. Take 5:1-6:1ish and u'll be fine.
I personally prefer spear cuz it has lil' more statuses, it haz stun & knockback while s/s only has knockdown, but it has smexy combos tho.

spear has stun sure, but imo a decent shield with good BR is the better option to take.

int s/s of course
the pros: +defense/block/+int +str +critical(shield stats)/kncockdowns-stabs
the cons: -dmg/-hp/no stun no knockback

so looking at the cons..
-dmg: minor difference since 1:7 isn't pure a full int sword will have close nuking power compared to the spear 1:7. although the spear 1:7 would be spamming stun more than nuking..
-hp: all from heuksal passive, of course. IF you dont make a s/s spear dual full int 70sword/spear/light 90 fire which would also do pretty good imo.
no stun/knockback: pff. kd/stabs more than compensates for this one.

the pros are just massive.
+DEFENSE: lol this should be more than enough reason to go s/s
block: omg.. gives u chance to NULLIFY opponents attacks, ffs..
int/str/critical shield blues: besides the extra 6int/6str from the shield which is pretty cool, u get the critical blue. lower the chances of your opponent to pull off a crit on you, how FKIN cool is that!
knockdowns/stabs: lifesavers and deadly! and annoying as fck(<- to your opponent)

ok you guys keep saying blah blah blah shield sheild sheild... you guys ever think of fan storm or w/e its called? lol MUCH MORE DEFENSE THEN A SHEILD. although i dont know what version this is or if it has it. but im saying spear anyday. also because i play on a 7:1 spear and no ss could kill me(isro)

Ecsro Fan Spear is like the old one on 70 cap iSro. Standing in one place spinning the spear lol.

It's basically useless, though I would vote spear over s.s

This is ECSRO, and the pvp is a bit different there than on iSRO.

If you want to go with the one that hits the most, do spear. Or actually just take the build wich you find more interesting and wich you will have more fun with
