My computer is making installing this game as hard for me as possible. I installed the game installed the patch, got error code two. Uninstalled, reinstalled, repatched while AVG was on. Now I have error code 5. Shut down AVG repeated all the reinstalling/repatching, I still have error code 5.
Does anone know what to do?

Ideas:
Find a new Antivirus. McAfee hates ecsro too. I'm not much of a computer expert, so I'm no help.

Check the last post in the elitepvpersthread, it was mine^^
THIS is the real solution for the problem. Cuz the media patching method ain't working and the reinstall method is working till u reinstall AVG, u have the same problem again.
1. Open the AVG System Tray
2. Go to Tools > Advanced Settings > Resident Shield > Exceptions
3. Add your ECSRO path in there.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Start up ECSRO.
6. Done
At least this worked for me, it's pretty simple actually, I'm not a computer specialist, just some logical thinking
Btw, if u restart the PC, and ur AVG is telling u the Resident Shield is turned off, don't worry about that, ECSRO works fine and that's all that matters ^^

I had tried that without the restart but I'll give it another shot thanks

What are you talking about Snoopy? McAfee has given me no problems with ECSRO.

Well I didn't uninstall it for no reason.

It magically worked straight after it was uninstalled.
