Well, this is happening to me in both public and fembria. From time to time I just get completely freezed. I can't move, make any skill, I can't talk (I can write but it never appears to others) not even sit by pressing N, but every single thing continues to move normally, so mobs continue to hit me till I'm dead. Once I'm dead I can' even go back to town. I press the button and the window goes away but nothing happens, I remain dead on the floor.

When this happens I have to close the client by finishing the process through task manager, and it's difficult to log back in. I have tried every single thing out there: Have everything up to date including patch, media and practicls.pk2, execute as win xp sp2, run as admin, and even using the task manager to change the affinity of the process to only one core of my processor (Dual core 2 duo processor), but nothing eliminates that. How can I fix it?

P.S. It's not lag and I have a good pc/connection (PC: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2Ghz, 4GB RAM, 512MB nvidia video card, Windows Vista; 2MB internet connection)

its server lag. it cant be fixed. as for logging back in, just keep trying after you close sro. i believe your account is STILL logged in after you close it so its hard to get back in after a few tries but if its during peak hours, forget it and put something heavy on the enter key.

just wait for 2-5 minutes when you're dead
go get some food and when you're back try to res, if not, just wait
don't close the client

Mmm didn't know it reacted after some minutes! T_T I thought I was the only one getting it. Thanks for the answers, I'll try that. If anyone has more information please let me know

I was about to close the client too when it happened to me the first time, but then just before I pressed "esc" it disappeared and I figured it out

even if you close the client and try to get back in during the server lag you will be unable to login due to... uhh.. server lag.

Happens to me all the time. I restart.

its really annoying though..I can never grind for more than 1 1/2 hours straight without going to town sine i always die of the damned lag in caves >.<

Sometimes that lag can be up to 7 minutes, annoying but if you are lucky you dont die.

I usually reconnect and wait until its over and try to log in again, its rather easy to log in since many close the client so there is often some slots available.

Its still pretty difficult for me to log back in, so I just don't close the client anymore. This far it has worked. After 2 or 3 mins I can take control and move again, so no problems there. Thanks for answer.

Exactly! And not to mention you run the risk of getting that dam C10 error if you just close the client during lags.. happened to me a few times so I learned my lesson and just wait it out. Nothin else u can do about it hehe.
