I think Sharp was more getting at the fact. You shouldn't have to quit playing games because a girl wants you to. If you asked a girl to stop buying their expensive handbags, and shoes. I doubt they would.

Though since my gaming is more like a time consumer, if I had a gf, she would be the time consumer so I wouldn't have time for games anyway.

Oh my girlfriend doesn't like me playing games and I don't really. I didn't quit because of her, I quit because I knew I was eventually going to get over it. I spent hundreds of dollars on the game I no longer can get back. I have no regrets as it was fun while it lasted. I thought I would have been better off spending it on my girlfriend, except I realised I'll just use mums credit card for that. She'll find out when she gets the few thousand dollar bill... I bought my girlfriend a pair of shoes for Valentines.
