i have a problem connecting on ECSRO
when i dont use HOT SPOT SHIELD
i get avrage ping of 230 which is good for me
after i put my login info
it just says "requesting user confirmation" and it stucked with it (ive been waiting over 10 mins)
when i DO use HSS i get around 300-500 ping depend on time
and sometimes i get server is crowded
and after few tries same like before
any chance they are blocking countries IPs ?

no idea what is hot spot shield anyways ...

This is the problem i have as well , they prolly just limited traffic for some countries and dont want to do anything to give it back...
Cause even if you manage to login with such a problem you will still lag , and lag so much that u wont be able to even move from place or write something in chat..

It goes as this , you type in your login info and password it says confirming or whatsoever and just doesnt do anything , sometimes it might say that server traffic is full , or c9 error .
All i can do is login at nights when there are 1200 people are on , and with 200 ping it goes just perfectly , anyways ive already filled a dispute to charge back , I dont want to pay for something i cannot play , GM says openly he won't even try to help me , so whats the point

this happened to me today also.. what i did was go to ecsro.net look at ecsro stats seen how many ppl were on server.. keep watching it for few secounds u will see ppl are droping out the server like flys which means server is haveing a lag spike

that is prolly they reason u couldnt connect

Hot spot shield is a software that hides the IP adress.

and make it look like u have an american IP

when i dont use HSS
i try to login and after few secs get server is crowded
and sometimes C9 error
i guess its delay and lags
maybe HSS make higher ping but the connection is better with it :/

i guess its a lag because late at night or early at the morning when its not crowded i login perfectly and not lagging at all w/o HSS

Well as i said , they just limited few countries traffic.
Ive tested with US proxy and have almost no lags , but with my own connection the lags are insane and its playable only in late night to early morning , when server is empty...

His countries connection isn't loving the connection to the server. (Excuse my child-like terms)
Therefore he lags, however if he uses a US Proxy, he has almost no lags. Therefore it isn't his connection, it's more to do with his country?

The problem is , that its happening in ecsro only too , so my other online games have very nice ping while this lags as hell :p
