you have to write in (where you wrote English) "English" !!

the " " must be in there!!!

well i finally decided to try this and everything went fine up to the part where i start the game but it wont update.. it crashes for some reason.

yeah I confirm that it's working and I been able to register an e-mail for myself at yahoo.co.kr with a working KSSN...

makeing an account is actually the tricky and hardest part, while the hexing is just smooth and easy...

but now the BIG question...!

HOW do we make the quests readable?

I have never been able while playing and leveling to understand any thing about the quests....!!! nothing is there to read...!

where to edit in the media.pak, and what exactly should we edit to fix that?

well, Cruor as you saying, you're trying to figure this thing out, so just please keep us informed and share thoughts with us maybe we can help..

i tried to translate it with babylon , but most of the time it doesnt work.

the first quest is to speak to the guide, then u go around talking to the npcs in the city. then u have to kill 20-30 movya. but i dont know for sure. because i just found that out last week ,in just trying

and when u pick korean chars then the quests r the same just like ours in sro

Does it seem like the program isn't responding? When you use insert mode, HexEdit can't use it's quicksave feature so it will take a while to save.

I'm having trouble launching kSRO both before and after doing the Hexedit-stuff..this is the error I get:

Any ideas? Friend thinks corrupt client, but I'm not buying that theory...he's done the same edit in his file and can play fine..

I'd be quite happy if you could help.

bah im so freaking close! someone help me!

when i click the bottom out of the two "list" that is what i get( on the left side)

there are no words english nor korean.

did i succesfully edit my media.pk2 file correctly?

and if i choose either of them, then the bottom lis just stays blank and i get this

you edited correctly. but u have to pick yahoo adress.

1st: pick then upper one
2nd: click to say i have an yahoo adress
3: pick ur server
4: id and password

This method works perfectly on my desktop. However, it won't work on laptops. I can correctly edit the file and it saves properly. However, once I run Silkroad, it changes the values back to "Korean".
It's not a big deal, it just means my friend can't see the exact values of his HP. I'm the healer anyway, so I just heal when it gets low.

KSRO is very fun.

I won't tell you how to get an account, you can figure it out just like I did.

I see there's no answer around here anymore but i'll try to post my problem aswell...I have downloaded the Korean version of SRO, installed without problems....only that when i run it it gives me a message (in Korean of course) it's something like it cannot connect ot the update server...and I can't update

.Then silkroad.exe starts normally only there's not a start button and I can't play.So i tried hex'ing, didnt work aswell gave me some Memory and another Korean characters error.

If some Korean guy around here could translate this it would be great...coz I'm stomped out

Ah, and if anybody had the same problem and solved it...Post yer solution here
