A good party today.

TG was intense. Didn't get any exp though(i was away when someone finally killed the last 10% of it). :soosad:

Hope the population continues to grow, its been fun so far. Rates aren't as crazy as Diamond or anything, but people were already hitting 50 on the first day. Pretty fast in my opinion.

But the balances they did should make PvP more interesting. Especially jobbing

8D is the final gear. the skills go all the way up to 100. Im guessing 70 is the final stats. Well wouldnt the damage be like, really, really high because of high lvl skills and lower lvl gear/stats..?

Well, i don't really like the server for several reasons, but that's only my opinion, you may have a different one. Anyway these are the main reasons, why i don't like the server:

-No or barely any low level pts. I have been looking for Ongs/Sungsungs/Bunwangs/Mujigis/Spiders/Penons (ye, i know that's a huge lv. range, but you can't really be picky about pts on this server, at least in my level range) the past few days and in this level range there weren't many pts and most of the pts, that i got in, weren't really good. It probably would have been faster to solo, but i am not really the type of person, who likes to do that. The pts aren't organized and mainly lacking dmg or bards. It's mainly just everyone buffing up and attacking the same monster at almost same level monsters. That's ISRO botter style, in my opinion. So there are basically no good pts at all at the lower levels, yesterday i got like 2-3 levels at high lv.3X/ low lv.4X, which just isn't satisfying, when you consider the rates of the server. The lowest sustainable pt level is definitely not at crabs, actually i think by now it's not even Sungsungs anymore. More like Penons or even higher. And the quality of the lower level pts just isn't good at all, as you lack essential builds for a good-working pt and even waiting for hours won't help. It's just frustrating to play in that kind of pts.

-Pting as euro is a lot harder with the skill changes. Bless Spell is basically useless with the 15 seconds duration and with Iron Skin at 15 seconds duration, you can't do big lures. I guess you could lure like 4-5 pt monsters at maximum, if you let the warriors tank. They just can't handle any more monsters with such restricted skins/bless. The only option would be doing str aggro cleric setup, which is what most of the higher levels on the server do, but i personally find that setup rather boring. Under these conditions (bless 15 seconds, skins 15 seconds) it's just not possible to pt in an effective way with the warriors actually doing the tanking job. As it is now, the warriors can basically just function as mere buffers for the aggro cleric, tanking yourself isn't really an option like that. And this is not really, what warriors were originally supposed to be. I may be a bit old-fashioned about it, but for me warriors are just the main tanks of the pt. They protect the ints, including the cleric, and make sure, that the int-characters won't get attacked. But as it is now, the warriors just can't tank anymore and lost all their purpose in pting, except buffing the str cleric, which is rather boring.

-Also due to the lack of pts in certain level ranges, you have to solo a lot, but as euro character it's really hard to solo like this now. Using Bless Spell during soloing is completely pointless. Until you switch back to your main weapon and activate Warcry/Life Control, your bless is already almost completely gone. Like this it's almost impossible to solo same level giants, while most chinese could easily solo same level giant pts, as they have no pot delay. I am getting more and more the feeling that the chinese are just getting OP on this server now, instead of the euros. Is that really the point of the server? I thought you wanted to encourage pt play, but instead you make the "traditional euro pt play", which means no aggro cleric for me, almost impossible and the soloing as euro quite hard too.

Anyway as conclusion of this, i decided to go back to the (bot-infested) ISRO server Azteca and just keep playing the game, how it is supposed to be. If i have to decide between soloing on a server with reduced duration of skins/bless and soloing on a server with the usual duration of skins/bless, i'd rather do it on the second one, even if there are bots.

With all the changes on Silkroad Salvation the game is just getting more and more unbalanced. I am done with this server and i can't really recommend it to anyone else, as it's just not the true Silkroad Online, which i like. But as i said this is just my opinion about the changes and you may disagree with my opinion. Everyone has their own opinion and this is mine. I just wanted to show that it's not all golden on this server and maybe this post will prevent other people from trying this server and just getting frustrated all the time. This post may help other people to decide, whether to play on this server or not. Not everyone likes the changes being made and like this other people can probably avoid my mistake (trying this server).
