EDIT: I've posted, let's see when they approove it. Also, i think that if the files get changed he should by hand make every player who's over 2x the same they were before, since the pop is low.

Hey everyone,

thank you for the intense discussion so far. Just let me make a few things clear:

There won't be EU chars with 60 cap nor with 70 cap. Yes, our plan is to raise the cap after a suitable amount of time (would be the same with current files), but there won't be EU before 80 cap. Furthermore there won't be EU regions or anything else, we keep the server as it is now: JG, DW, HT, Karakorum. There won't be a snow shield for nukers and we can use old skill animations for nostalgia reasons, further we can re-invent the oldschool pvp capes and also mercenaries. It's not our intention to present you a fully new and over-edited server with shitloads of new content. We just want to have the POSSIBILITY to add or modify new/existing content, this doesn't mean that we go fully crazy now and destroy the feeling of our server. The server got an oldschool and classic gameplay policy and our goal is to get things in a right direction where Joymax farked it up long time ago. Though we'd never make changes which you dislike nor would we make changes without asking you before, I hope you've already realized that.

IF we switch to vsro we cannot copy the character data 1:1. What we could do is that we compensate your invested time, there are several things we could do. It would be possible to set the exp/sp rates pretty high in the first week for example, or we could give out tickets, scrolls and more. EP can be restored for sure, you won't lose it. We also could offer you to get a "naked" char which is on the level of your current char with a suitable amount of gold/sp/alchemy stones. As some here already said, I really don't see the problem there since your invested time won't be wasted. These things are just a few examples of how we could compensate your invested time.

I'm a huge oldschool fan myself, but I guess in the end we all would have more fun using vsro files. Regarding the mentionend bot problem that's coming up with vsro; Yes, there are more bots for vsro and they're way more advanced as the bots for ecsro/isro files, but with vsro files we have the possibility to detect third party programs via a software which will give us undoubted results if someone uses a bot or not. Furthermore you can still report bots and we can observe them.

About party monsters: They can be removed, it's a bit work but it's possible. Depends on if you want them or not, but so far it seems that the majority of players don't want party mobs.
