Giving up on cSRO
Giving up on cSRO
The moment I started playing cSRO I noticed some lag but it wasn't too too bad so I stayed.
But now, I am unable to play in Div2 anymore (div2 as always been more laggy for me than div1).
I had a level 29 tanker, I was starting to lose more exp than actually gaining exp.
I switch to div1 and it's impossible to play there also, I had freeze bubbles lasting up to 5 minutes, yes, 5 minutes.
I give up and I'll wait for the update to be installed it's game over for me in cSRO and yeah I know some people don't have lag but many do and it's just horrible. Just load up their website and see how damn slow it is to load up.
It was fun, I know pretty much what I want to be now. Tanker, full tanker or Bard/Cleric. Bard with a 1 gap and cleric 4 levels under bard.
I had a great time with some of you guys but I was getting very angry at the end because I just couldn't play anymore. I'm in iSRO right now and I have 0 lag.
See you there when the update comes, I'm switching to Europe for sure.

I believe the reason behind this lagness is that u are playing when the traffic is congested (china time 6pm- 12am). I experience the same lagness too. How to check this? Just press E to check the party list. When it is congested u ll see lots of party on waiting list. I would recommend u to try the connection once again when the chinese are all sleeping.
BTW a small trivia for all those who are interested: there are rumors spreading around that GM using the bandwidth to download porns. Next time i ll save a ss when ppl global about this rumor. I have seen it a dozen times.
To some extent i do believe this rumor, because the terrible lag will stop after a few minutes and wont reoccur again. So i think GM just finish downloading his porn from Megarotic (and he is not DLing thru torrent). LOL

I've been getting alot of lag on cSRO after my two weeks away.
The ping on Div2 was between 300-350 which was almost no lag, now it never less then 420. Thats makes the lag terrible, about a 1-2 second delay.
If someone can explain to me why this is happening I'd be grateful.
I don't think its the time either because I'm in the same timezone as China and I used to play from 5pm onwards before.

just to clarify it abit. China websites always load slowly regardless of ur physical location ( except in China itself). I have been visiting china websites when i was in many asian countries and even australia. The sites always load as slow as a snail. I think this has something to do with the government monitoring the internet itself. I have read chinese newspaper that disclose that there are government servants employed just to monitor skype chat in China. ( and they have the right to delete certain conversation and the other person will never receive that message
)
