Just to clear some things,we've been doing this for roughly 3 months with me having 0 knowledge about server files at start and 90% of the time I've been the only one working on the server in the dev department.To make an example,Venture team,they had two people,two experienced people working on the project,and it took them 3 months to finish.So from my point of view I'm quite satisfied with the stage we're in....
Its not dead, just going slow at the moment, everyone has other preoccupations at the moment

#1. I havent worked on the server files till we started working on Venture's content update.
#2. I have 0 knowledge in database management and anything that has anything to do with coding.
#3. Perry hasnt worked on serverfiles before himself either.
Perry is incredibly busy IRL and doesnt have much time to work on the server. If he was working on the server full time we wouldnt have launched April 17th, we would have launched around Marchs' end.

So please, refrain from shittalking how slow we are unless you actually know whats going on.

I don't see why rEq is even mentioning the Venture crew.
Sure, it took them 3 months... Reborn is taking how many? The new consoles will be out before their server launches, if it ever does.
Hopefully the new consoles and the ports to PC will be enough to finally put SRO out of its misery.

I disagree with this being offtopic content. We're discussing the options we have in MMOs, and I'm throwing out another option.

It's not like this thread is going anywhere, and nothing is being released, so why not try and give the people something to kill the time until(if ever), this server is released?

It wasn't an April fool's joke. We got the idea of creating our (Infensus union) server after Ludoworks' Apricis failed. We were discussing ideas and were testing some things, spending whole days on doing that. But now, everyone's been really busy and it just got delayed. I wasn't even able to be a part of beta testing (I just managed to create a character and never logged in again).
