So I downloaded the exe that Tas has in his post....and it says invalid data. Its also a different download than the SrS site has. Sad day, more waiting.

Download the Salvation Installation package and follow the directions.

Instructions:
Download the files. Unzip and put the salvation media.pk2 into
your client folder and overwrite the existing pk2. Then put the
salvation sro_client into the client folder and also overwrite the
old one. Then launch the game. If you did everything correctly,
you should be able to get onto the log in screen.

Make sure you have that media.pk2, im not sure if the official download will include it now or not. Most recent media.pk2 from the update beginning of this month.

It's not a threat, it's apparantly the only way to make people understand the importance of security. If I (and several others) would want to do anything you probably wouldn't be playing it right now. Frankly I don't have anything against this server, except for the hypocrites running it. but we've been over that already so I just keep on lurking over these forums
