you kids need to stop crying about ecsro shutting down and stuff. its not an official company, its not even a company at all. why would it have to care about its customers? its just a fast way to make money off of desperate lazy people who refuse to play the game as it was made to be played. imo anyone who has spent money on this should get the lower end of the stick since your giving your money to something thats illegal.
ps: nothing posted in op is anything new lol
pps: fembria was already doomed from the start which is why i never bothered. only people that left for there were those who wanted that quick jump ( lazy ) or just were hopeless on ecsro and wanted a fresh start or friends of one of the two
oh and super ps: its been dead since the first 70 -> 90 skill update ( the one where you could only level up the skills we already had )

ESRO will never happen. They can't even keep a website up (because the creator lives in a country where it is illegal to spend/make money on the internet) and use a free blog to post snips of movies that could have been made on any one of the common emulators that are already available to anyone who cares to look for them.

Allow me to kindly ask you to look for some more information as you are wrong in every thing you said.

You may be referring to npcdoom (aka. Achillea) as the creator, he's not the creator he's the main coder, and yes he is from Venezuela like me where there's a stupid and heavy restriction on USD usage that we have to deal with. So he publishes his progresses on his blog like the other coders that are working along with him on the project.

I believe there must be some problem with the official site tho, as it's owned by another team member, this site had already been used before as a final fantasy fan site and it has it's own domain.

After all iSro isn't even near complete :S and it's already an old game. So why the rush?

I wish what u said it;s true, but when in 4th December u announce that servers will shut down for update just for few hours, we,from the past experience whit ecsro,knew that it will take longer.
But after 1 week no update, no news , nothing. I was mainly complaining about their lack of transparency and that they should change ! The moderators DID change ( they took attitude*) and the next day the forums got shut down.
I mean come ON .. u got problems whit servers - fix them ? They do not have the logistics to do that but they start shut down the forums too on the reason that they must do something there also ?
THAT IS BULLSHIT. They stop it cause people realised what is going one and they didn;t want them talking there.

@jaapi unfortunately yes, seems like we don;t have rights, we the customers.
@amarisa yes i was there when they were shut down .

Uhh.. no. they closed the forum because there are thousands of kids like you who spam them with threads like "When will Fembria Open!!!!!!!!!", "How long until Servers OpEnnnn!", "ECSRO Team robbed from SWSRO and suck at everything!", BLAH BLAH BLAH. I wouldn't want to have to sift through all that ninny shit if i were them either, believe it or not they are actually working hard to fix the all the bugs. If you have ever worked with code before, finding a bug and fixing it is not a simple fix... its frustrating and you have to search for hours through code to find a single character error sometimes.

And BTW they said they should open the forums back up Friday.

Not everyone is as optimistic as you. I think very few people actually believe ecSRO has anyone similar to a coder who can track and fix a bug. I am among the majority who think they just wait until some other p-server group like swSRO fixes the bug and Ocean buys it.
