Hey Silkroad Forums. Together with ltsune I am going to take care of the Public Relations at this forum.
Like ltsune I am not part of the developing team but I will try to get one of the coding nerds to answer it and will bring the answer here. I am responsible for writing all these text like the welcome text that you have read. I am also the one who will put the last finish on the event descriptions/events. When the game launches I will be one of the first Game Masters to touch the unspoiled soil of SilkRoad!
twistedorgy wrote:This seems pretty fishy to me...No pictures, videos any proof whatsoever, and you can buy "ngcredits" before it's even out yet, even the admin is saying everyone should buy "ngcredits" because it's double the normal amount...sounds like a scam to me..
Even if this is real and shit, it still seems expensive anyway..I mean really, are the "NgCredits" you buy equivalent to that number of silks?
Because if so, that would mean if this server came out, the silk is X2 the price of Isro silk...
I believe ltsune has already answered your question about the price, but I would like to add a bit to it: The NGcredit system is a new feature that the developing team is implementing into the NGFusion. As a way to support us with money for servers we have opened up this feature to also include NGSRO.
Just so everybody understands it to avoid more misunderstandings of our system: The welcome text that I wrote (which is posted both on our NextGeneration SilkRoad Online site and here at this forum) is an introduction to our version of SilkRoad Online just like movies and other games have teasers. I have not explained the NGcredit system in the text as I felt it had too little to do with our version of SilkRoad Online as to include it.
Pictures and/or video of the game are coming. Our leading coder, who is the main engine in this train, has not been online today, which, to much frustration for us, has made ltsune and I unavailable to promote the game with any screenshots as we have no way of accessing the server files by ourselves.
We have a little video for you guys though. It is more like a an early preview of the server. We can't show you the Europeans or any of our other included differences from other privately hosted SilkRoad Online versions in the version, but we will keep this thread updated with pictures and videos when they are released.
The video can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1W-YR0_CYH8We are aware that the video shows the game screen with a loader notice/interface in the left bottom of the screen. This is because the movie is from an earlier version of the game server which required a loader to access.
Sincerely,
Mizuki
