[VSRO GUIDE] How to make your own English media file

Since the media file is updated regularly, you may encounter problems when running Vsro with the old media. So i made a small guide so that you can make your own English media for Vsro.


Requirement:
1. Media extractor and Media Editor ( Please find them in the Guide area, im sure someone has posted a link there ).
2. Microsoft Exel ( probably other speadsheet package will work as well )


Steps:

1. Install Vsro normally with the Vsro orginal media.pk2.
2. Update Vsro. Get into the game and see if things are working normally.
2*. Make a backup of the Vsro media file and Vsro original folder. You will need the Vsro orginal game for future process of making new media.pk2.
3. Use PK extractor to extract the files: textdataname.txt textevent.txt textquest.txt textuisystem.txt and textzonename.txt. After extraction, the files will appear to be a notepad file ( .txt file )
4. Open each of the files with Exel, and switch the English column with the Vietnamese column ( should be the last two column )
5. Integrate back the changed files to the media.pk2 ( Using media editor, i think ) , and use that media/pk2 to run vsro.
6. In case you're not very familiar with the pk extrator and pk editor, read the small guide that the author made.


Dont spam me with questions. Im not a pro with this ( i have never touched a PK2 editor before ), but i managed to make a media.pk2 successfully on my 1st try, meaning these stuffs are quite easy-to-understand-and-do. Please study the subject carefully before making any question posts, and dont count on me too much. I will be gladly of help if i can, of course.

Yeah you can translate almost any sro version to English with the method above i believe, so its handy for most sro versions

hmmm... can i c a screen shot of it xD lol and btw.. do we really need media extractor? i think the site died cuase i cant get into it
