Post by qwerty173 »

During install, my friend gets error code 2. It's DURING INSTALL not after, about 99% completation he gets the error. Can any1 help, already tried to disable virus controls etc. Using Nod32 if that helps. Thanks in advance!

nod32 is a bitch with ecsro. get another AV like avast!.
uninstall nod32 and try again, also turn down the firewall during installation just in case.
if that doesn't work, it could be corrupt files. then you'll have to redownload.
try not to pause the download too often.

if it's Error code 2 while at launcher it could be nod32 deleting your sro_client.exe
in that case you need to add sro_client.exe to nod32's exceptions.
viewtopic.php?f=45&t=110210
check that out

btw, each time sro updates you'll have to readd the sro_client.exe to nod32 or it will keep deleting your file. i suggest you just get rid of that bitchy nod32 and get avast. seriously.
