i had the chance to talk to SOME of the chinese people and they said they viewed pvp in a different way.
they said stuff like: doing whatever it takes to win, and defending your own when they're in trouble.
if you ask them nicely to stop, they will stop.
instead of asking them to stop, most people will end up bringing backup to defend their foreigner pride, ending up in (what would look like) chinese vs everyone pvp battle.
of course there's always the asshole bunch in every community, like the 'Vip' chinese guild on ecsro who jumps in and kills every single non-chinese player. i tried talking to them and they just called me noob or didn't answer
