Hey, sure you've all seen lots of posts about error 2 code, stoping you from playing ecsro. You have all said just take it out of the AVG vault or quarantine.

Here are some virus results for the client and the .exe

The .exe

The .exe showed 1/36
The client as you can see showed 16/36, meaning 16 antivirus showed this file as infected.

Now, you can't disregard the fact that these are infected... These could be ofcorse false positives but I don't think so.

Is there any client installer which is completely clean? I use Macafee, and even if i take the file out of quarantine it gets put back in instantly.. even with it out of quarantine i feel like im infecting my computer using the game.

Can anyone actualy offer a real solution to this problem, rather than just ignoring it and taking it out of quarantine..

The thing is, that loads of people are getting exactly the same error, from the same file.. so lots of people do.

Did you download the client and the rest of files only from the official ecsro site?
Salvation -> Shy -> Full Int Warlock/Cleric (Lvl 70)

Yup, its all from the official website, i don't use anything else for ecsro.. No autolog in no other autopot than the one from the main web page.

So it might be worth everyone just scanning their client and .exe at http://www.virustotal.com to see if everyone has this problem.

I'm just about to put a new motherboard in and format and start again, so that should clear anything infection on my actual system, then im going to use a program that a friend has in the hope that it will remove those viruses. If so then i will find a way to post the clean versions of the files...
