[ECSRO] Helpies Please ^^

Post by Snoopy »

Okay well. I have a desktop, which runs Ecsro perfectly. I have a laptop which runs Ecsro perfectly. I have a second laptop, which does not run Ecsro perfectly. In fact, it doesn't run it at all.

You see, when I open it up I get an error telling me to download DirectX9b or greater. Which I have. So I'm just wondering, what the heck is the problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Could you please shine some light on it for me and make it work!

I know there's a way to Multiclient on ecsro, legitly (i.e. Without loader etc). I'm not going to say how, incase some people don't know and I don't want server filled :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can also post computer specs if needed.

To tease people who don't know. Keep them on the ball. If you don't know it, chuck me a pm I'll tell you.

Edit: Thanks Easy_Lady.

New Problem:

Ok, first solution worked perfectly. However now, the resolution is really weird - I set my laptop to highest resolution, and open Ecsro, once it's open and I've logged in, I can't click the start button to start playing my character, because it doesn't appear in the screen.

Things I've Tried: I tried setting resolution to 800x600 then changing them to the highest resolution. didn't work
I tried opening the Options on the client, didn't work - Said Silkroad.exe is not responding.

Have one choice. Run as Administrator - Still doesn't work with that.

if its a vista, you should run in windows xp service pack 2 and run as admin about your resolution try when your in game hitting windows+Alt+Enter, if it puts it into a sort of window mode, hit it again and it should size up to your screen and stuff, not sure just try it tho.
