zerk gain of warlocks

just wondering about the zerk gain of warlocks , is it really that fast ?

wanna know whether it's the same with a warrior / warlock that does debuffs , will the party gain zerk faster ?
or do i have to attack with dots ?
if yes do my dots need to do dmg or are lvl 1 dots by a full str enough ?

Yes, Warlock gain for themselves and the rest of the party zerk really fast. I read a recent post, can't find it right now, but it said something to the effect that, the constant DoT keeps counting as hits, that's why the bubbles fill up fast. I personally don't know why it happens, but have partied with Warlock enough that I can vouch that my zerk bar fills up super quick. The only trick is getting people to constantly use the zerk and not saving it for a ptg, no need to save it, if a ptg shows up, it's usually full before it's dead anyway, unless everyone else has zerked on it.

What I've seen after playing around on a Warlock for a while.

If you have a DoT on a mob after it dies you have a chance of getting more than 1 Zerk bubble. Basically for every DoT on the mob when they die it is the equivalent to killing the mob that many extra times. Could be different but that is my theory from observations so far.

warlocks has a chance to gain a zerk ball from each dot, even while the mob is still alive i was able to get a zerk ball screwing around on a low lvl warlock

I was counting the other day, and right after using my Zerk on a Hun Defense Lancer Giant (lvl 37), I killed less than 10 mobs and had the Zerk bar full again. That was a lvl 39 Warlock, with lvl 37 masteries, using 2 dots + Flower nuke for each mob.

i believe it has to do with how many mobs u killed, but in a warlock's case if a mob dies with the curses still active then every time they would have dmged it u get another shot at a zerk bubble. if that is true then the ammount of dmg they do doesn't matter, which also means that a str vs an int lock or even an npc wep compared to a pimped out SoX wep wouldn't matter.

I got 2 bubbles killing a slave watcher.

When we finish a party giant in zerk mode, most of the times I get full zerk after the ptg is on the ground.

Warlock zerk gain not only works for her but for her whole party as well. the extra zerk is only gained when using DoTs, the AoE dots hit 3 mobs at once.
With that said if your lurer brings in 10 mobs, your party starts attacking, the warlock gets two aoe dots on all 10 mobs and they all die with how the dots are on its like warlock killed 30 mobs[#mobs x 2+#mobs] not just 10 since each dot usually goes off atleast once after a mob dies. If you used only aoe dots you could have gotten like 5 dots on a few of the mobs, and that could make it possable to make the game feel like the party killed 50+ mobs not just 10. I have a sun warlock rod and my dura is 314 and I usually break it in 1.5 hours with a good lurer.

I find single target dots dont kill as fast but they dont lower my dura as fast either, hence further proof of the said statements above.

i play in a cyber and i started a new char warlock pure int. and the guy who plays sro and saw me how fast i got the zerk bubbles and told me " HEY YOU`VE A HAX!!! " xD



at mobs lv 13/16 i gaing zerk each 1 ~ 3 minutes. datz soo fcking fast dude
