Well, i started this char 2 months ago, got him to lvl 40

now i have to decide on my skill trees now,

I have 3 options

90 Heuksal / 90 Fire / 90 Lightning / 30 Force
90 Heuksal / 90 Fire / 90 Force / 30 Lightning
90 Heuksal / 90 Lightning / 90 Force / 30 Fire

here is his skill chart:

and yes: i have looked at the COMPLETE STR GLAVIE Guide and some others,
so don't come up with the suggestion of using a guide again >_>

I have 10k sp to use and i'm full str mind that too

I chose Hueskal/Light/Force/Fire cuz I think it would work well if you go hybrid. That's obviously your choice to make but if you decide Full Str I suggest the classic Hueskal/Fire/Light/Cold because it still works well and will probably always be a decent, but average, build to use. Force is still iffy though because of Holy Spell but it more depends on if you care or not. Just because it doesn't work versus one build doesn't mean the world is over.

@ IDontPlaySRO :

i know that every build has its weakness, but the reason why i'm tending to use force skills is because of the debuffs that are most effective when many hits are dealed to an opponent
(thus the chains).

btw: the force spells don't have any holy spell :?

@ advosor:

Well, to be honest i wasn't really considering the cold skill tree at all, even though i could use a bit of extra defence.

And as for the 1st skill line(Annihilating Spear), i know its not worth it :P
but i keep the chains because i am full str.

Edit:
i've got some time to choose the skills, because i am farming with a 9 lvl gap
keep it coming guys

30 force won't do you much unless you plan on plvling at ongs (harmony therapy lvl 3 = lvl 39 mobs)

i suggest 30 ice for some snow

-or-

90 heuk/fire
72 ice
48 light

IMO,i really dont think Force tree really good in the long run for ANY physical attack player (either STR or INT).

weapon tree+imbue/nuke tree+force= not enough mastery. force become better as cap increase. The only build that can bring Force the its maximum potiential is pure nuker with no weapon skill. Once stun and sleep introduce in force tree, nuker is free to launch a nuke.

Glaive maybe should stick to its traditional Heuksal/Fire/Light.(or little cold maybe) but for this cap, adding force should work by sacrificing some tree.

@muyo: Force IS useful for STR or STR hybrids, since you can maximize the low damage you deal and multiply that damage by hitting multiple times

Holy Spell as in the Euro skill. Still even beyond that there are still uses for the build. If you are happy losing Lightning or Fire then go with Force.

Don't do force glaive, IMO. I believe only bows and blades work well with force. Glaivers have too little defense and are very vulnerable while dishing out the vitals and doing skills. Bladers have block and KD, and really need the extra damage force can provide. I believe glaivers have enough damage already.
Bowers have constant KB, but they hardly ever kill without critting consistently. Force only adds to that, so a crit while under division, for example, is decisive. Also, bowers can survive well because they have the reliable KB (as bladers have the shield and KD).
Glaivers don't have any of that. All they have is low probability stuns & knockbacks.

Best build, as far as I can see:
90 fire
90 heuksal
72 ice
48 light.
You need physical defense against warriors, rogues or other STR chinese, and light isn't important for pure STR. Just don't do 90 fire / 90 light. That is fail, IMO.

If you do want to have high light, I would suggest:
90 fire
90 heuksal
80 light
40 cold (for 30% absorption, in case you can use it).
This is much better than 90 light, because 90 light is just a waste of SP, IMO. Also, it's easy to go to a 100 cap build from this one: 100 fire / 100 heuksal / 80 light / 20 cold.

Simple as that. :)

^^ thnx for the opinions

@ stress:
yeah, i got loads of negative feedback from my friends about having force :(

Also, its true that having lighning isn't very effective as a pure str,
since the magical attack is low anyway so the piercing force series hav minimal effect.

And as a Garment user i get enough speed to without any maxed grasswalk,

I guess i'll do the 90 Fire / 90 heuksal and decide on the ice/lightning mix later :P

I guess the thread can go for a lock with prolific results :)
